The Acura (Acura) brand was born thirty years, and its official announcement of the new generation of NSX was officially launched, compared to the traditional supercar, the new NSX uses a hybrid system, which makes it unique in the same class.

New car introduction.

The "Ferrari of Japan" by the hand of a female designer

The NSX, which has the title of "Ferrari of Japan", has finally ushered in a new generation after more than ten years of absence from the market. The NSX is designed by female designer Michelle Christensen.

Compared to other models in the Acura family, the new NSX has a black grille and single-spoke chrome trim, and the headlights use a full LED light source, with an aerodynamically designed front bumper that looks very aggressive.

Body-wise, the new car adopts the traditional mid-engine body design used in supercars, and the smooth side lines are more streamlined than the old model, but this does not make the new NSX look more feminine, the complex lines on the surface of the body also outline a sharper style instead.

The tall rear end is equipped with a carbon fiber spoiler, while the sharp lines with a large bottom spoiler give a very sporty visual effect, while the mid-mounted quad exhaust is a constant reminder to trailing vehicles not to try to provoke it.

Gorgeous and lacks of combat interior

The interior design of the new NSX is very gorgeous, while the use of luxurious materials to highlight the sense of luxury should be. Although there is less of a fighting atmosphere compared to some pure supercars, the clashing style with the color, also people always have the urge to drive it.

As a new era of supercars, technology is also essential, the new NSX uses a combination of large LCD instruments and mechanical instruments designed while enhancing driving vision, carbon fiber, and a leather steering wheel with a flat-top design. The center console, though, has a highly designed one-piece shape with silver trim and a push-button shift mechanism, giving it a very unique feel.

In addition, the two wraparound sport seats are wrapped in Alcantara and leather, and the central Dynamic Mode knob enables the vehicle to switch between four driving modes, but in contrast, the central screen gives a feeling of déjà vu, well, it very Honda.

What's unique is that although the new car is a mid-engined supercar, it doesn't have a front trunk because of the motor and cooling system, but a trunk designed after the mid-engine, and the size can put down a standard golf bag.

Complex powertrain

The new NSX is unique among today's supercars in that it inherits the spirit of the old NSX, using a 3.5L V6 engine, but with a more longitudinal design, to which two turbines and three electric motors have been added. The powerful hybrid system gives the new NSX a combined maximum power of 573 hp and a peak torque of 645 NM. In terms of transmission, the new car adopts a new 9-speed dual-clutch gearbox.

At the same time, to better layout, the engine compartment, the new car's intercooler is designed under the air intake of the rear fender, while the full water cooling system is designed in the front part of the car. In addition, two of the three electric motors are placed at the front axle, and the battery that powers the motors is located at the driver's back.

In this complex hybrid system, the 3.5L twin-turbo engine and the coaxial motor drive the rear wheels together, while the two fixed-ratio electric motors on the front axle drive the front axle, making the NSX realize a four-wheel drive layout, which is officially called the Sport Hybrid SH-AWD system. The above "black technology" is assembled in a new aluminum frame structure that plays a lightweight role, but this still makes the new NSX's body mass reach 1725kg.
