Looking at the current trend in India for the automobile industry. People have a craze along with the need for Electric vehicles in India. Looking at the vast change that will take place in India between few years, Tesla as well as other auto-mobile companies have launched some of their best designed Electric Vehicles in India.

While searching across the depth of the industry, we have been through some of the best EVs which will start running on the track within a year or two. These are the 5 Amazing Electric Vehicles that are coming to India for you.

1. Tesla Model X

The Popular CEO of Tesla, Elon Musk has announced that their brand will dig into the Indian automobile industry and will surely launch their best EVs. Tesla has a wonderful model of EVs and the first on the list would be Tesla Model X. As per the information, Tesla will launch in India up to 2021-2022.

Coming with various specifications Tesla Model X is arriving with three different variants. 75D, 100D, and P100D are the famous variants under this car, with a battery pack 75 kWh for 75D but for the rest, it will be 100 kWh.

Jumping into the details, the 75D can run up to 417 Kilometre with a full charge with the top speed of 209 mph and hit 100kmph from a standstill in just 4.9 seconds. Whereas, 100D can travel up to 565km, 250kmph with the maximum speed in 4.7 seconds.

But, the P100D brings down the range to 541km, can achieve the top speed of 250km, and can attain the top speed of 100km in 2.9 seconds.

2. Audi’s E-Tron

Audi is all set to launch their first-ever Electric Variant in India by this year. The SUV shape of the Audi e-Tron is almost similar to the other variants of Audi(Non-EV). Coming with two electric motors and that will use for the maximum speed of 210kmph. Accelerating 100kmph just in 4.5 seconds gives the edge to this EV upon others.

Attached with sportier bumpers and 22-inch alloys. The interiors are almost killing with the design. Inserted with full of tech and you’ll find three digital screens s[read around the dash along with connected car technology, adaptive cruise control, surround-view cameras, air suspension, and even more.

3. Mercedes EQS

Recent reports are witnessing that Mercedes EQS will make its global debut this year, with the company's flagship EV, almost equivalent to the S-Class. The luxury Sedan has been built on a completely new platform, will be used to spawn more EVs in the future.

Looking at the specifications, it’ll provide the highest running range of up to 700km upon a single charge. With the minimalistic exterior design, the car boasts of a drag co-efficient of just 0.20, which is the lowest compared to other road cars.

4. Volvo XC40

Initially introduced with diesel in the Indian automobile market. Unfortunately, over time, Volve changes some specifications and switched to a petrol engine in its place.

Now, it’s time for the third major change, the Volvo is launching its EV into the Indian market with the XC40 variant. The recharge will be the Swedish manufacturer's first EV in India, powered by two electric motors. The XC40 recharge produces 402hp and Volvo claims that it’ll accelerate up to 100kmpg just within 4.9 seconds.

Coming with a 78kWh battery, it will deliver the range of 418km on a single charge

5. Tata Altroz

Another product coming with the tag of Tata motors showcased to us at the 2020 Auto Expo was the electric variant of Altroz. The amazing-looking hatchback has proven to be a successful product for the homegrown carmaker.

Looking at the specification, it comes with a choice of three engine options, 1.2litre NA petrol, 1.5-Litre diesel and the last one is 1.2-Litre turbo-petrol. They’ll bring Altroz EV too as the company already has a few EV products in their portfolio.

In fact, people are expected to see the same specification that was in Nexon EV, which means that the hatchback will be about 30.2kWh Lithium-ion battery pack. Which will provide a range of almost 300km on a single charge. Additionally, 80% of the battery will be charged within 60 minutes only.
