Toyota Camry has been the most popular mid-size sedan ever since it first went on sale in 1983. It is always known for its reliability, fuel efficiency, and trouble-free ownership.

Toyota has unveiled 9th Generation 2025 Toyota Camry. 2025 Camry will be offered with only Hybrid engine this time. 2025 Camry will be available from the spring of 2024. The car gets a new refreshing exterior and interior design.

Engine Specs

2025 Camry will get the 5th generation Toyota Hybrid system mated to a 2,5 litre gasoline engine comes will be 2 electric motors or 3 electric motors. Front-wheel drive will get 2 electric motors up front and All-wheel drive will get the third motor at the rear to give that extra traction. All-wheel drive (AWD) will be available in all 4 trims (LE, SE, XLE, XSE) in US and all three trims (SE, XLE. XSE) that will be available in Canada.

Front-wheel drive Camry will make 225 bhp power, while the AWD will make 232 bhp both mated to a CVT transmission. The 9th generation Camry will not get a V6 engine. With this Camry will move to the line of Toyota vehicles with only Hybrid engine like Prius, Crown, Sequoia and Sienna.

Exterior and Interior design

The front end of the Camry has undergone a complete makeover with a fresh headlight design, similar to that in the Prius, and a new front bumper. The side profile looks similar to the previous generation Camry, while the rear gets a new taillight design.

Base LE variant will get a 16-inch wheel while the SLE will get a 18-inch wheel and XSE will come with a 19-inch wheel. Overall, the exterior has become more stylish.

The interior of the new Camry has got a lot of changes compared to the previous generation. Interior of the car has Toyota Crown inspiration. The steering wheel and dash trim elements are borrowed from the Crown, which makes the interior look upmarket. SE comes with a black interior while XSE gets and option of red or back interior. XLE has an option of a black or gray interior. Overall, the interior has a lot more features and looks more luxurious.

The 2025 Camry now comes standard with an auto high beam, wireless phone charger, apple carplay and Android Auto, five USB ports throughout the car,auto-dimmingg rear view mirror, heated front seats and heated steering wheels.

The LE and SE trims are equipped with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system and an 8-inch instrument cluster while the top-tier XLE and XSE variants get a larger 12.3-inch infotainment screen and instrument cluster.

Dimension of the car is same as the previous generation(Current Camry). XSE gets Red and black interior options. For the first time, Camry will get panoramic sunroof for XSE and XLE variants. Toyota has claimed they have redesigned the seats to make it more comfortable.

Safety features

2025 Toyota Camry gets standard Toyota Safety sense 3.0 which includes blind spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert.

Other safety features include pre-collision and pedestrian detection, traffic jam assist, front and rear parking assist with automatic braking.

The suspension and brakes has also been re-engineered for better ride and handling. SE and XSE gets sport tuned Macpherson strut suspension in front and Multilink at rear.

New colour

2025 Camry will get two new colours (ocean Gem and Heavy metal) along with the already available colours.

XSE has optional dual tone colour combination with a black roof combined with either of the 4 available colours ( Ocean Gem, Emotional Red, Wind chill Pearl and Heavy Metal)

2025 Toyota Camry will go on sale from spring 2024 and pricing is not yet announced.
