Volvo S60

Volvo S60 is famous for its gorgeous styling, smart packaging, and an innovative power train. Thanks to these, it is no doubt that it can gain such popularity when it hit the German market.

When we mention the most popular luxury car manufacturers in Europe, we tend to think of Audi, Mercedes and BMW first. Brands like Jaguar, Alfa Romeo and Volvo, on the other hand, are rarely mentioned, even if they don't have a place in the minds of most consumers. So these so-called second-tier luxury automakers are working to change that. volvo is starting with a reinvigorated lineup and making a big splash with the entry-level sedan 2021 Volvo S60. Volvo's move is keeping the entire auto industry, even the industry's top brands, on their toes. the Volvo S60 features a traditional trim level design, a design that doesn't stand out from a distance. But when you get closer, you'll notice all the subtleties of the Volvo S60. And it is these details that make it unique in the world arena of luxury sedans.

Novelty begins with design, and innovation blazes new trails, a design philosophy unique to the Swedish automaker. The Volvo S60's bold look kicks up a notch with its striking "Thor's Hammer" headlights. while many automakers have signature lighting elements, Volvo's t-shaped side lighting is particularly elegant and compact. It doesn't clamor for attention with a giant logo, and the design stands out in contrast to other automakers. The huge, blindingly ugly BMW grille and the tacky Mercedes grille are prime examples.

Normally, Volvo will not use accent lines to interrupt the design. To avoid looking big with the grille, Volvo exaggerates a sporting pedigree with this S60 trim model. With the help of multi-spoke wheels, the vehicle look speedy and sleek when at a standstill. This design skill is a common trick used throughout the vehicle industry. Volvo's design team is highly skilled in design, and this is reflected in the S60's interior. The right amount of restraint and subtle brush strokes make for an attractive interior. With a limited number of physical buttons and knobs, users have more room to enjoy textured metal and contrasting white stitching. Volvo's dashboard is minimalist in design, which is a very misplaced point. Instead of piling millions of buttons on top of the dash, only the most critical items such as media are made into one entity to operate, and everything else is relegated to the large vertical touchscreen. This greatly saves time in operation and brings convenience to the user. But some people don't like this design either, and it's hard to satisfy every one. As a well-known proverb goes: "there are a thousand Hamlets in a thousand people's eyes". The same of true is that.

The infotainment system inside has a cleverly laid out home screen. However, to use other controls such as safety functions and assisted driving, you need to swipe sideways on the screen. Because there are so many small buttons on the screen, it's hard to tell which one is the one you need while driving. Needless to say, this is one area where Volvo S60 must improve. Because even the digital instrument cluster has small details that are difficult to understand, which detracts from what should be an above-average user interface.

But one thing that deserves praise is the Volvo S60's seats. This seat is widely acclaimed. As long as you prefer sturdy, supportive seats to soft, plush, pampered ones, those seats are the the finest in the industry. They're durable, less prone to wear and tear, and stand up to the rigors of long trips. Especially when you're on a long trip, long drives won't make your back and neck sore. Keeping you feeling fresh, they will also keep you will well concentrated while driving on windy back roads.
