A visit to Everest Base Camp, where expeditions plan to scale the world's highest mountain, is also included. Use our initiatives including 10 Pieces litter collection, porter welfare, Leave No Trace, and avoiding burning wood to be a thoughtful traveler. Our exclusive private eco campsites and hand-picked eco lodges are where we spend all of our nights.

How to Hike to Everest Base Camp?

You can do the trek to Everest Base Camp in one of three ways: on a package tour with an organization, on your own (without a group or guide) but hiring a porter or guide, or on your own (without a group or guide) but hiring a porter or guide.

If you are alone or unsure about completing the trek without assistance, taking a guided tour through an organization is a reasonable choice. It is a more convenient but more costly option.

In Kathmandu, finding porters and guides is simple; simply go to any local agency and they will help you arrange workers for your needs.

It is not difficult to do it yourself, and the only thing you need to organize is plane, bus, or jeep tickets from Kathmandu to Lukla. There is no need to book anything because you follow a very straightforward route and everybody stays in the same small “towns” with many tea houses.

From the numerous chortens and mani stones that line the path to the intriguing monasteries that you will discover along the way, this Everest Base Camp Trek is rich in cultural significance. By traveling with the Nepal Hiking Team, you can learn about the Khumbu's mysteries and form genuine bonds with the locals and other hikers. Please contact us as soon as possible.
