Families will enjoy learning that Mackinac Island offers a Halloween Trick-or-Treat every year, featuring a host of decorations throughout the island and trick-or-treating for the kids downtown. The 4th of July is also an exciting day at Mackinac Island, with an annual fireworks show and a stone skipping contest to make the holiday memorable. Another popular event is the Mackinac Island Fudge Festival in August. This weekend of treats is a fudge-lover’s dream, with an ice cream social, fudge infused cocktails, and, of course, fudge making and tastings.
