Weather Ticks for Better Days

While the worlds slowly opening, the sun is calling.

Crimson Sunset in a Close Kind of Paradise

Taking trips even without a vehicle or a massive amount of money was normal before being told to stay at home to “self isolate” on highway signs. Not only from the beach but the library, museums, nightlife and the parks was considered expected. It was undoubtedly so that when it was again gonna be a thing, or better than that, the little things in life we do as people that brings us joy, that they will. The thought of doing so again fills me with even more so wanderlust than before.

While the world is reopening the doors and everything is again slowly returning to being the way as society was as much as it can be, I think of adventure. One of the adventures I look forward to when it is possible is going back to the ocean. Even without a vehicle yet to make it possible I am to consolidate a solid plan with someone whom also can not wait to see the beach with all of the beauty it holds and surround myself with those whom appreciate the zen it brings to our mind body and souls.

We will road trip to see the water and appreciate the scenery, busy people, and enjoy the great weather. Again connecting to the ocean, nature and the normality that it once was trying to arrange visits to the beach before things changed. The sun and waves are calling and I am answering.

California Sunshine

I will meditate while listening to the sound of the crashing waves before me after walking barefoot in the sand feeling it in between my toes. Afterwards running into the ocean and letting the waves take me under only to come back up again. Connecting on the same level of oneness with the universe and nature alongside people who are equally as excited as I to soak in the sun and fresh air around us, and embrace the beauty of our surroundings.

Enamoring ourselves with the blissful blue water and shining sun to stop in the moment, enjoy it and take those picture perfect scrapbook photographs that we can look back on. Having it be that I have always wanted to surf, if this is a possibility it would be an experience of a life time, and I would have to make a movie somehow.

Regardless of what plans we make along the way we’ll walk along side the beachfront walking towards the birds just so I can watch them fly. If we are lucky enough and can ride horses as the sun is setting we would be living life for a moment like it is a movie, and make a memory for the times of our lives and hopefully remember it to be a universal recovery from COVID19.

Someone else enjoying their Cali sun

The hope is to embrace the liberating feeling of not only the ocean and the beauty surrounding, but with those who are just as grateful for the ability to do so again. Exploring into the beautiful rainbow colors of art and diversity around me while we are all on our wavelengths living in the moment and the buzz of people around us.

Venice Beach Boardwalk

The Pink Elephant

Somewhere I will eat when I am able to go and see the beach again, despite its high prices, is The Pink Elephant. One of many places worth remembering and revisiting in Venice Beach California. With quality and taste worth every penny and bite. This time celebrating the world back in its peaceful state th at it can be, hopefully also trying the ice cream and living life in a Kodak moment.

Wether we walk, jog, bike, or skate as we make our way through the plethora of shops filled with food, art, clothes, souvenirs and things I have always dreamed of buying will be a pleasant scene for the eye to see. Seeing the crowd of people making their way back and forth, between the wave of activities music and sea of faces and people’s dogs, skateboarders, bikers, groups of friends and family will be euphoric.

There will be the familiar feeling of the culture around me. I will go with someone that has or has not been and treasure this way of spending a better day of many after the worlds open again and we are all back about able to do more of the things that we do when living life for the sake of enjoying it and living it to the fullest with the little things.

We’ll gaze upon the sunsetting before us and take pictures until our phone batteries are running out. Wether my companion is social with others or they are not, waving to strangers glad to see the unique array of people traveling or who live there I am the one to wave at the strangers and smile passing by.
