The Bieszczady Mountains in southeast Poland provide a tranquil haven from the busy world. Both hikers and adventurers are drawn to the undulating hills and lush surroundings. The mountains serve as a sanctuary for wild animals. Every route narrates tales of nomads looking for inspiration and seclusion. The unspoiled environment and rustic charm are most inviting.

Kadzidlowo Wildlife Park is an amazing place in Mazury.

At Kadzidlowo you will find around 400 animals representing over a hundred different species. Most of them are animals that naturally inhabit Polish nature, but there are also specimens brought from further corners of the world, for example, Siberia or the Far East. Forest and field mammals include wolves, lynx, wildcats, otters, beavers, chamois, elk, fallow deer, mouflons, roe deer, the rare St. Hubert’s deer, white-tailed deer, grey-tailed deer, and the rare red deer. There are bison, as well as wild boar, Polish ponies, Przewalski’s horses, donkeys, and raccoons.

Birds include birds of prey (eagles, owls, and eagle owls); chickens (capercaillie, black grouse, hazel grouse, and pheasants); waterfowl (cranes, wild geese, ducks, roe deer, mergansers, helminths, and ferruginous ducks—the latter species is listed in the Red Book, which proves its uniqueness); and, of course, black storks.

With trails that wind through breathtaking scenery, the Tatras are a paradise for hikers and skiers in the winter. Rugged and tranquil, the region’s splendor perfectly captures the grandeur of nature. Discover quaint mountain communities where customs and folklore come to life.

Wandering the halls, visitors can find a variety of artworks that represent both local and global viewpoints. This is a must for art lovers seeking new inspiration.

A subterranean marvel, the Wieliczka Salt Mine is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visitors are enthralled by its enormous underground rooms and elaborate salt sculptures, providing a singular window into the mining past of Poland.
