Kolli Hills is a mountain range located in the Eastern Ghats of Tamil Nadu, India. It is known for its scenic beauty, waterfalls, and temples. The area is popular for trekking and hiking, and offers a variety of trekking trails for both beginners and experienced hikers. Visitors can also explore the numerous temples and shrines located in the area, as well as visit local villages and experience the culture and lifestyle of the people who live there. Some popular tourist spot are Arapaleeswarar Temple, Agaya Gangai waterfall and many more. It is also well known for its medicinal herbs and plants, and Ayurvedic treatments are available in the area.

Kolli Hills is a small mountain range located in the Eastern Ghats in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. The hills are known for their rich biodiversity, including a variety of herbal plants. Some of the notable herbal plants found in Kolli Hills include:

* Andrographis paniculata, commonly known as "king of bitters," is a medicinal herb used in Ayurvedic and traditional Chinese medicine to treat a variety of ailments such as fever, colds, and infections.

* Phyllanthus amarus, commonly known as "bhumi amla," is a medicinal herb used in Ayurvedic medicine to treat liver and kidney problems, diabetes, and urinary tract infections.

* Ocimum sanctum, commonly known as "holy basil," is a medicinal herb used in Ayurvedic and traditional Chinese medicine to treat a variety of ailments such as stress, anxiety, and respiratory infections.

* Tinospora cordifolia, commonly known as "guduchi," is a medicinal herb used in Ayurvedic medicine to boost immunity, improve digestion, and treat fever and skin disorders.

These are just a few examples of the many herbal plants found in Kolli Hills. Many of these herbs are used in traditional medicine and may have medicinal properties. However, it is important to consult a qualified healthcare professional before using any of these herbs as treatment or supplement.

The Arapaleeswarar Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, located in the Kolli Hills in Tamil Nadu, India. The temple is believed to be over 1000 years old and is considered to be one of the oldest temples in the area. The temple is known for its unique architecture and intricate carvings on the walls. The temple is also famous for its statue of Lord Nataraja, which is considered to be one of the finest examples of Chola sculpture. The temple is visited by thousands of devotees every year, especially during the month of Karthigai when a grand festival is celebrated in the temple.

The temple is surrounded by lush green forests and the temple opens at 6.00 am and closes by 1.00 pm and then reopens at 4.00 pm and closes by 9.00 pm. The temple also has an annual festival which is celebrated during the Tamil month of Karthigai (November-December). It is a grand event, attracting thousands of devotees from all over the state.

Agaya Gangai Waterfalls is a 300ft waterfall located in the Kolli Hills. It is situated on the Aathara River and surrounded by lush green forests and rocky terrain, and it is known for its serene beauty and scenic surroundings. The waterfall is a popular spot for trekking and hiking, visitors can reach the waterfall by taking a trek from the base of the Kolli Hills. The waterfall is also believed to have healing properties and many people visit for its natural healing properties and for a refreshing dip in the water. It's best to visit the waterfall during monsoon season, but it can be visited throughout the year. There is an entry fee to visit the waterfall and it is open from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm.
