If you are like me you probably want to open that door of yours, book a ticket and go to the mountains away from all the worries that the world is currently engulfed in, I wont even mind going to Mars right now just away from this Covid 19 disaster(you are free to call me an escapist).

So, this article is basically about the future of Travel industry and my point of view on it,feel free to comment your valuable opinion in the comment section below.

India, the country were I am from had targeted to earn a whopping 50 billion US dollars from travel industry by 2022 which seems like a blur considering the current scenario. With the cancellation of almost all the International flights and many of the countries entering into a state of complete lock down, the tourism industry seems to be affected the most as even if we somehow manage to control COVID 19 in future most of the people will be scared to travel in trains/flights. Many countries around the globe have been seriously affected by this virus which does no seem to go away any time soon.If there are any time travelers out there in future, this would be the right time for them to come back in 2020 and give us the technology so that we can start this year all over again, only this time without COVID 19.

Millions of people in the global tourism industry are expected to loose there jobs because of the current scenario, with 96% of countries around the world introducing restrictions,so what will be the fate of Tourism Industry?

We have overcome many serious pandemics in past and this situation will soon be past us, but even after that the people around will be cautious to travel abroad and people might even avoid public vehicles for quite some time which might increase the number of personal vehicles as well as domestic tourism.

But with all the negative impacts of COVID 19 there seems to be some light at the end of the tunnel in the form of the climate changes that most of us have already begun to notice, the reduced tourism has given time to our planet to replenish to its original conditions resulting in cleaner air, water and air. This situation might lead to responsible tourism and prevent popular destinations from getting overcrowded as the government might impose restrictions.

As of now all we can do is hope that we are able to get a cure and vaccine soon for this pandemic so that our lives can return back to normal, until then stay positive stay fit.
