World Journeys

What

I haven't traveled anywhere in 18 months. Wrapped up in work, bills, necessities and day to day shenanigans, life potentially eliminated a wise all vacation trip. Intelligence is expanded when there are global interactions, conversations had, various foods and settings are altered. Seeing the world in its many forms is a necessity for me before I leave this world. It's been a very long time that I have traveled anywhere. To add to it, I've never left the country. The time has truly come that I put away with my own personal travel ban. Before we are all stranded and not allowed to leave and respective homelands, there's a imperative need to put the wheels on the travel van. It's time that I get out and venture into different corners of the world. Visiting different parts of this great country that I haven't seen is always exciting. Still have never been to California nor New York. D.C was a joy last time I was there but that was during the teen years. Last all out vacation was Myrtle Beach back in 2015, first time visit. Being it was late in the year, the town was quite empty, beach was still little warm overall very fun time.

Bottom line is explore activation mode is current and I will be sharing my timeline of fun journeys along the way.

Why

I have spent time in different parts of my state. Entertainment, lakes and so many delicious restaurants there's so much to do in Minnesota, where I reside, but there's so much more that I need to venture out and discover around the region, inside and outside of the country. I used to travel all around the U.S feeding my desire for newness. Going to Michigan when I was younger was lots of fun. I always looked forward to this time of year because we always went to Six Flags this time of year through early summer.

Scientifically, traveling or lack of, can play a role in your health/mood. Emotional batteries need to re charge. Your personality opens up, your entire perspective on life seems to shift in a way. In a busy hectic year you may be able to squeeze in 10-15 days of get away vacation time and that's really stretching out some days. Pending on where you work this is pretty much average of how much time you can accumulate. Advocating for venture is my stance for the year. Friends family and foes should get out and see the globe. Seeing the differences, experience various cultures will enhance the vision of others to understand their journeys.

Where

Getting back to my traveling sense of mind, I think will be sort of a challenge. Caught up with the decision of if I should start out with a big time trip. Then I think about maybe starting with a mini vacation trip then on to a international trip to get me warmed up. My start up place will be Mississippi gulf coast. I miss my family back home. I haven't been back in way to long, way past overdue for me to vacate to my home state. One of my biggest setbacks before was setting aside enough money to go to new places. Appropriate funds is still a minor setback but that reason has been surpassed with just a lack of planning and having a passport. If you're not equipped with a valid passport in today's world, then you are one step behind on life. One way or the other it's time to move around. The world has become so much smaller and easier accessible. I came up with a list of 5 areas I would like to visit in the near future. I will be visiting these areas utilizing Airbnb and different flight deal sites that will be channeled through my adventurous blog. Here is my international lineup of places I will be visiting in no particular order:

  • Jamaica
  • Belize
  • New Zealand
  • Iceland
  • Ethiopia

My North American visits include:

  • Hawaii
  • Vancouver
  • Miami
  • San Diego
  • New York

How

I'm always down for a good sandwich packing road trip. Nothing like hitting the road and heading somewhere until finally arriving to cramped body parts. Then few hours later head back home. Got a deal from Travel Saver that I paid $45 for two nights in a pretty decent room. The network for online sites and apps is highly advertised market. Expedia, Trivago, Priceline, Hotwire, etc all are trying to get our business. They all claim to have the better deal than the other guy. We will put their so call better deals online to test. Also utilizing Airbnb and different flight deal sites that will be channeled through my adventurous blog will be shared so that it is channeled to you. All new deals that I come across will be shared. The ultimate goal is to find a new self knowledge about cultures, foods, music, fashion, and history. There is love, adventure and art in traveling.
