One of the most popular reasons people love to travel is to the Caribbean, as it allows them to take the stress out of their trip and get into full-on vacation mode. Puerto Rico is a great choice. There are plenty of beaches and mountains to explore.

Since it’s a US territory, Puerto Rico is considered domestic travel. This means you don’t have to carry a passport and can go on a trip without too much hassle. Aside from that convenience traveling to Puerto Rico provides tons of great spots and adventures you can go on.

Old San Juan

Old San Juan is a historical treasure full of charming and exciting sights. The first stop on your trip is the San Juan National Historic Site, which features two of the most prominent buildings in the area: the San Felipe del Morro and the Castillo de San Cristobal. There are several bars and restaurants throughout the region that serve a variety of food and drink. After a long day of sightseeing, enjoy a refreshing cocktail at one of these outdoor bars.

Condado

The area known as Condado is a central part of San Juan and is full of bars and restaurants that cater to the needs of its residents. The nearby Casino del Mar is also a popular spot for P.M. patrons. There are additionally several upscale hotels near the beach. Just note that the surf in Condado tends to be rough, so it’s more of a relaxing area on a beach.

Isla Verde

Although Puerto Rico is known for its beautiful beaches, some places are more unique than others. One of these is the town of Rincon, located near the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. This area is a great place to watch the action from a safe distance. If you’re looking for a more tranquil location, head to the nearby town of Faro de Punta Higuera.

Rincon

Despite the abundance of beautiful beaches in Puerto Rico, some places are more unique than others. One of these is the town of Rincon, located near the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. This area is a great place to watch the action from a safe distance. The waters surrounding this area are calm and have a thriving coral reef.

Rio Grande

Rio Grande is the gateway to the El Yunque National Forest in Puerto Rico’s northeast region. This area contains natural attractions, such as waterfalls, hiking trails, and observation towers. If you’re looking for something more challenging, head to the nearby JungleQui Zipline Park.
