With the end of the school year and summer just around the corner, the thing that’s probably on your mind right now is how to have the best summer vacation with your kids. You may begin to feel overwhelmed with the number of places that you can go. However, there are a number of different family-friendly places where you can take your kids this summer. Below are some of the best places that you can plan to go for your family vacation.

Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

If you’re looking for a great beach town, look no further than Myrtle Beach. With 60 miles of beaches and a boardwalk that’s over a mile long, there’s definitely something for everyone in your family. If you’re not looking to spend your entire vacation at the beach, there are a number of places where you can go for respite. Barefoot Landing has a number of different shopping and dining options, and there are a ton of attractions, such as Ripley’s Aquarium and WonderWorks, which are sure to keep your family entertained for hours.

Branson, Missouri

If you’re looking for a more low-key destination, Branson, Missouri, is the place for you. That’s not to say that it’s boring, however. There’s an incredible variety of attractions to choose from, such as Branson’s Promised Land ZOO, the World’s Largest Toy Museum Complex, and The Butterfly Palace & Rainforest Adventure. If you’re looking to get in touch with nature, there’s a 356-acre Table Rock State Park that’s begging for your family to hike, bike, and explore, and a Lakeside Forest Wilderness Area that spans 140 acres of beautiful trails with waterfalls that make for a perfect outdoor adventure.

St. Pete Beach, Florida

If a relaxing vacation is what you’re after, St. Pete Beach is definitely a place to check out. Not only do they have a gorgeous beach that your whole family can enjoy, but they also have a number of places that you can go to have a stimulating, educational experience. The Explorations Children’s Museum is a 24,000 square foot museum that is sure to enrapture your children in educationally stimulating fun. Next, you can head outside to Sunken Gardens, a four-acre garden that houses over 50,000 species of tropical plants– and flamingos and a butterfly garden! If that’s not enough, you can rent glass-bottom kayaks and go on an exciting paddling trip with See Through Excursions.
