The city has great transport links so you won’t waste too much time travelling, regardless of where you are coming from. 4. Barcelona

The beach scene in Barcelona is like no other. Bars on the beach serve cocktails throughout the day and pump reggae music out across the white sands. Of course, to make the most of this you need to visit in the summer when the sun is shining (and the tourists are out).
