Do you enjoy going to theme parks but not in Orlando? Swing by Busch Gardens Tampa.

I have been going to Busch Gardens Tampa for 5 years in a row and have seen the good, the bad, and the ugly of the park. So I felt I should share some of my knowledge of the park and pass it on to you and maybe you can swing by one of these things that normally people miss. Let's hop into it, shall we?

Serengeti Express

Unlike the Serengeti Safari that Busch makes you pay for, you can take the free option and take the train. You won't be able to feed the animals but you can still see their small wildlife reserve. It will take its rounds around the park stopping at Congo, then Stanleyville, and looping back to Nairobi. The Serengeti Express is a convenient way to get around the park if you don't wanna walk all the way around and the kids will love seeing the animals.

Bird Gardens

If you love little feathery friends, then I highly recommend swinging by the bird gardens. Paying their small fee for bird food, you can have many feathered friends land on your arm and even head to eat. Even without food, these little birds love the attention. I have personally seen a lot of people skip over this because they think they won't get the experience they think. But I can reassure you its definitely worth the swing by for at least 10 minutes or so.

Turn It Up!

Over the years the Moroccan palace has seen many changes for better and for worse; Turn it Up was a step in the right direction in my opinion. With their hottest show on ice and 23 minutes of hot songs and dancing watch these professional ice skaters dance the ice away. Lots of excitement and fun for people of all ages and definitely a good way to get out of the heat if you just don't wanna watch it. Odds are you probably will.

Congo River Rapids

Living in Florida all my life, I realize it is hot, I hear it all the time and see all the tourists come down sweating. So why not come by Congo and cool off on this fun ride experience going down the Congo River? But beware of the strong currents. You are not guaranteed to get wet but if it's hot out you might wanna wish for that. This ride is good for all kids all ages with the set height requirement.

Edge of Africa

If you're not in a rush to get to every ride, you can in a day swing by the Edge of Africa. Take in the smaller wildlife exhibits such as meerkats, lions, and aardvarks.

Meanwhile, you can just take a break from all the rush and relax and enjoy the wonderful view that Busch Gardens has to offer. For being in the middle of a popular town, you will feel as if you are actually in the heart of Africa at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. It really is a place to see at least once in your lifetime. Even if you are on a strict budget, tickets are going cheap at the time of writing this and annual passes are even cheaper so feel free to swing by and have a family day with the kids or even your loved one. It's a great place to spend a day with the ones you love.
