I used to be a window seat person all the way. Nothing beat watching the clouds roll by or catching that golden hour view while soaring above the earth. But after enough long-haul flights and awkward trips to the bathroom, I’ve shifted to Team Aisle. Sure, I’ll bring back a postcard or a magnet here and there, but the real souvenirs are the journal entries, photos, and the feeling of wonder that sticks with me. I’d rather invest in experiences than trinkets. The night I watched the Northern Lights dance above me in Iceland?
