A Washing of the Body of a Balinese Cremation Ceremony
Warning: Some of the content and photographs may be considered graphic or disturbing. Introduction: I felt extremely privileged to be invited to a Balinese family cremation ceremony and was the only foreigner present. Excited to experience this seminal Balinese tradition and absorb as much culturally as possible, it was also paramount to be respectful and non-intrusive.

Ghana Is A Corrupt, Scamming & Violent Nation
Wednesday, 30 October 2024 By: TB Obwoge The narrative from Ghanaians is the thing that make me write about Ghana, you'd think people that called themselves so peaceful and so welcoming wouldn't be colorists. You'd think that they would be kind without their hand out for a few dollars just to be kind to you cost you a lot. You would think that Ghana wouldn't be the country for scamming.

November 5th in the UK
Before the 5th of November, we would all get ready to buy fireworks from the local newsagents. However, local newsagents no longer sell fireworks and can only be purchased from an authorised retailer. Once we were old enough, our parents would take us and our neighbours' children to the local park, where there were organised fireworks displays.

Deep Well Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze
All photos were taken by Jessie Lynn Nelson from JLN Photography Making Memories As A Family Is A Huge Deal In My House I know I write a LOT about my family ootings (ooo-tings is the only correct pronunciation for 'Outing' anymore since we watched the anime Spy Family on Crunchy Roll). We don't get to do them often but when we do, we usually launch into our ooting at full energy. We take it seriously for many reasons, and each of them is trauma-related to our own childhoods.
