Popular Places to Travel
Almost all countries are finally open for tourism! I hope that in 2023 you can safely travel to some new places in our beautiful world. We'll begin with the Portuguese island of Madeira, located in Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Africa. Madeira is often called the Hawaii Europe, because the island was born of volcanic origins. If you love hiking or just relaxing on the beach, Madeira is the place for you. Punta du Sol is a great place for swimming. There is no sand, only smooth Boulders, but the ocean is amazing to swim in. A great place to go cliff jumping is Pico de Arriero, one of the tallest points on the island. The elevation is so high up until you will often be in or above the clouds. The hiking there is a sight to see. The trails are so well maintained, you get some of the most phenomenal views. Pico Dugato is nice if you're up for an adventure.

I moved here two years ago to do the Disney College Program, and never left after my program ended. With life looking like I’ll be Orlando-adjacent for a while, I figured it was time to start looking at O-Town from a different lens.

Traveling Across the US to Gather Spoons
Last year Randy and I started planning this trip and then decided to postpone it due to the economic and political climate. Then we realized if we waited for conditions to be right, we might never hit the road. So we started planning, set a date, and recently climbed into our motorhome and began our adventure.

Freddie's Lost TreasuresPublished 9 months ago in WanderGoing to the Beach
The beach is probably my favorite place to go to while on vacation, and it has been since I was probably six or seven. That was when my immediate and extended family got to go spend a few days together at Gulf Shores in Alabama. There were pranks (live, large crabs placed in the bathtub) and music (courtesy of one of my younger cousins who loved Kenny Chesney’s song ‘Big Star’). Discovery (a museum that we ferried to) and sickness (almost all of us caught a stomach bug).
Hannah E. AaronPublished 9 months ago in WanderLiving Below The Poverty Line
I always thought that living beneath the poverty line is an occurrence that befalls others, so I decided to dive-in to poverty myself (as an experiment). The belief that poverty arises from ill fortune, bad choices, or a lack of skills is part of what drives poverty. Once someone falls into poverty and descends into destitution, the difficulty of freeing oneself from its clutches, is almost seemingly insurmountable. I resolved to directly experience poverty in the Kingdom of Wonder, the country of Cambodia.
