Random Thoughts

from the Universe to Us

Amber glows of a sunset

The distinct smell of cedar trees

Autumn leaves drifting as they dance with the wind

Ember in a firepit that mesmerizes the soul

Realization that frost isn’t rain or snow or dew

Sunlit gleams upon the water of the seas

Fog which looms over its temporary domain

And a nebula doing the same to space in a night sky

The mist from a welcome ocean breeze

The miracle of an oasis in the sands of the desert

The pulse of life newly formed

Sharp edges designed as quartz

How ripples and tides can be a warning

The lessons found in an umbra

Is a reminder to be sage and look for something bigger

The vivid images from memories we hold dear

And the short wisp of time we are on earth...
