If you are clueless as to what to do for 7 days in this massive destination, do not worry as the experiences you are going to have during a holiday here are just endless. It's 5 times larger than the whole of Japan - and in this huge geographical area, finding things for 7 days is not a big deal. Shortlisting what you'll do will be quite a challenge, but let's give that a try. Use this article as your guide.

Day One

Brisbane is the perfect place to begin all your Queensland adventures. So, follow the trend and say yes to the City Centre Heritage Trail experience which will let you know more about the history of this capital city. Witness the glory of the oldest buildings that you come across and let your camera capture all these memories. Visit the Cultural Centre which is home to many interesting galleries, performance halls, museums, and even the State Library. Give your day a perfect end by enjoying some live music at West End.

Day two

Brisbane is done, and so the next destination will be the Sunshine Coast. Head to Steve Irwin's Australia Zoo which has a nice collection of crocodiles, reptiles, and Australian critters in store for you. If you are someone who loves to try an adventurous experience, you may climb to the top of Mount Tibrogargan which has an odd shape making it a little challenging for a hike. Once you are done with the zoo or the hike, you may use your time to adore the beautiful beaches such as Mooloolaba, Caloundra, Kawana, and many more. Don't forget to collect beautiful souvenirs from whatever the boutiques at places you visit!

Day three and four

Do you know why these two days have been coupled together? Simply because you are going to visit Fraser Island and just one day will not be enough to try out all the wonders and charms it has in store for you! Fraser Island is the biggest sand island in the world. Explore its rainforest and get exposed to its freshwater lakes, the famous shipwreck, and also the 75 Mile stretch of beach. You'll feel that even the two days you have allocated for this tour are not adequate for the whole experience!

Day five and six

Here's another wonderful experience to try on your fifth and sixth days. All you've got to do is to catch a domestic flight to Cairns where you are going to discover the wonder of the Great Barrier Reef. Cairns is also surrounded by lush rainforests and you may explore that beauty as well on the same trip. When you are done with snorkelling and forest observations, you can then travel to Kuranda by train and this will surely be a scenic railway experience for you. If you are running out of time, keep in mind that you also can fly over the lush greenery in the cable car. If your soul still wants some more adventures, make sure you don't miss out on the hike through Mossman Gorge.

Day seven

Say bye to the waves, beaches, mountains, and rainforests. Use the final day of your holiday to explore one of the outback towns, be it Birdsville, Charleville, or Longreach before you end your long holiday.

Staying in Queensland

Choose any of the Middlemount accommodation options the likes of Oaks Middlemount Suites. Your 7-days holiday is sure to be filled with all modern luxury and comforts, and even if you are on a solo trip, you then have nothing to worry about your security and privacy.
