Gold Coast caters to an array of preferences and tastes of its myriad of visitors. The exciting opportunities to enjoy in the Gold Coast, such as hiking, sightseeing, and non-stop partying, make it nearly impossible to stick to your day-out plan. However, below are five fantastic ways to spend a day in the Gold Coast, with as many options condensed into each plan.

Relax on the Gold Coast

You can kick start your morning by treating yourself to a chilled-out breakfast at one of the many restaurants in Gold Coast that offers delicious breakfast options. Next, think of hiring a car and driving all the way north along the Gold Coast Highway. It'd be an incredibly scenic journey where you'd get enchanting vistas of yachts cruising in the sea. If you take the exit to Mount Tamborine, you may find yourself driving past lush green landscapes and through the charming Tamborine village. This village is perfect for browsing through its quaint boutique shops and cafés. Moreover, you can look forward to short bush-walks in its fascinating national parks as well. Head over to the Mount Tamborine Vineyard and Winery for a mouthwatering lunch. Don't forget to taste some Queensland wine available at this place. In the evening, head down to the Gold Coast Broadwater for a relaxing dip.

Have an Adventure on the Gold Coast

For a day full of adventure, plan for a morning of Go Karting in the Nerang indoor track. This is the perfect activity to make you feel exhilarated throughout the day. How can one not be happy when zooming across its 250-metre track with around 15 other racers! Next, head out to one of the hotels in Gold Coast Qld to calm down that adrenaline rush and fuel yourself with some fantastic lunch options. Afterward, why not make your way into Surfers Paradise Timezone to bag a game of indoor Laser Skirmish! You can also opt for many other recreational activities such as golfing, driving bumper cars, and ticket games at this place. In the evening, relax with a beer in your hand and watch the sun disappear below the horizon at the Surfers Paradise Tavern – Surfers Beer Garden, which is located nearby properties such as Oaks Gold Coast Hotel. Treat yourself to a light dinner and walk down the Orchid Avenue to one of the trendy nightclubs to dance the night away.

Spend a day at the beach

Starting the day at the Snapper Rocks, one of the best-surfing destinations in Australia would be ideal for you if you love surfing. Well, this doesn't mean that you need to be a surfing expert to have fun at this place, but you can have a fantastic time even if you enjoy relaxing activities such as boarding and swimming. A dip in the ocean early in the day is bound to get you hungry. Gold Coast offers a range of cafés and bakeries that provide delectable breakfast bites. Weekends are the best as some properties like Rainbow Bay offers breakfasts overlooking the sea. At lunchtime, you can consider taking a walk over to Marine Parade and find a nice takeaway restaurant to choose from a variety of delicious food. Why eat at the restaurant when you can enjoy your lunch in the shade of the pine trees at Greenmount Beach. Spend your evenings with your loved ones playing Frisbee or just playing around in the water.

Go on a shopping spree

With over 400 stores that boast of Australia's high-end designer clothing and other related products, Pacific Fair Shopping Centre is the ideal place to bring your shopaholic fantasies to life. It also houses ranges of overseas products and local favourites that would let you browse for hours. Once you work up an appetite after a good shopping spree, the chic and sophisticated food court would allow you to help yourself with some good food. In the afternoon, drive towards an authentic shopping experience for the Robina Town Centre. Pull the full stops on a highly satisfying day by relaxing at the Marina Mirage with a glass of wine in your hand.
