Instead you could actually spend one full day at the mall and not feel the time pass by at all. Apart from shops and flagship stores of various brands, the mall also boasts cinemas with the latest technology for the ultimate expereince in case you decide to watch a movie. Travelling with kids? Then the mall is one of the best options to keep them occupied. The kids will have a play area or arcade in any mall you visit in Singapore, so they'll never be bored. If you love cultural items and want to purchase something really authentic, then start by heading over to Chinatown. Peranakan kebayas is a traditional suit woven with silk threads from China. This is just one of the treasures that await you in Chinatown. There are various Chinese antiques and little trinkets that are definitely going to draw you towards them. Not to mention, the Malay district in Singapore also known as Kampong Gelam. This district sells all the traditional and ceremonial items that are quite precious and made with rare materials.
