Dubai is a great destination to travel next, especially if you are done with the European countries out there, and the tropical ones such as the Maldives. With the tallest building in the world, the biggest shopping mall, and many other record-breaking attractions, there are many things to explore in this destination. But planning is the key! If you don't plan your tour, you'll probably ruin your holiday, and no one is to be blamed for that- but you. So, read this guide and make your plan.

Timing your tour

Needless to say, Dubai is a hot destination, and this is why you should always avoid the summer for your trip. The desert temperatures sometimes go even higher than 125 degrees and you'll end up saying no to all outdoor activities and just get stuck at your hotel or a shopping mall throughout your days. So, travel to Dubai between fall and spring to experience pleasant weather, and then, you'll be able to explore the best of this international city without any barriers.

Pick good hotel offers

Dubai is a city filled with all modern luxury. So, this applies to the hotels there as well. Before you go, go through sites such as Excellent Hotel Deals and find out the best accommodation, rejuvenation and dining offers in the city during the time you have scheduled your tour. Book your preferred hotel in advance and grab the special offers they have in store for you. When choosing a hotel, be mindful to pick a hotel that's located within close vicinity of the attractions that you plan to visit during your stay.

Plan some outdoor adventures

Dubai is not just about high-end shopping malls and sky-high hotels. Dubai is also about great adventures. Research about dessert safaris that you can undertake when you are in Dubai and contact the tour agents (if possible) even before you actually go there. Plan an outdoor adventure that has all elements such as camel rides and sand boarding and let two or three agents come up with their prices much in advance. So, you can compare the benefits and the costs and finally choose the best option of all. Do not also forget to plan some aquatic adventures such as jet-skiing and flyboarding when in Dubai, because they'll be amazing experiences too.

Also, plan the other activities

Dubai is never a boring destination. One of the topmost things to do in Dubai is to view the world from the 148th floor of Burj Khalifa- the tallest building in the world. Then head downstairs of the same building to find the biggest shopping mall on Earth- the Dubai Mall. You may not afford to buy everything available here, but who said you can't do some window shopping here and be proud of it? Do not also forget to visit (at least a few) of Dubai's main attractions such as Palm Jumeirah, Ski Dubai, Wild Wadi Waterpark, and the Dubai Museum. If you wish to learn about the local Islamic faith, you may also head to the Jumeirah Mosque if time permits.

The food culture

You'll surely fall in love with the food scene you find in Dubai because it's diverse and vibrant. Indian, Chinese, Japanese, or Arabic - you come across all these international cuisines in Dubai and they will always be in their best forms. Many restaurants are serving all kinds of this food, and if you join a Friday brunch at any hotel in Dubai, you will surely have the best food experience ever in your lives at amazing rates.
