When you think of Paris, the first thing that comes to mind is probably the Eiffel Tower and a baguette. But did you know there are many other things to do in this beautiful city?

Paris has been ranked as one of the most visited cities in Europe! Whether you're looking for something fun or educational, we've compiled a list of our favorite budget-friendly activities for your next trip to Paris.

- Visit the Eiffel Tower! It's one of the most iconic monuments in Paris. The views from atop are simply breathtaking. You can take an elevator, or climb to the second floor (but be warned that it is quite a hike up!).

Tickets start at around $15 and you should expect to wait at least half an hour. - See Notre Dame Cathedral while you're there too! Also known as "Notre Dame de Paris", this cathedral was built over 800 years ago and has survived many wars throughout history.

There are tours available for free if you want to learn more about its rich past, but other than that just enjoy admiring this beautiful church on your own time! - Explore Montmartre which used to house many artists who made this neighborhood their home. This is a great place to visit if you're looking for an authentic Parisian experience!

The streets are full of cafes, street art, and beautiful architecture. - Notre Dame Cathedral also hosts free organ concerts every day at noon which will have you feeling like you were transported back in time...not to mention the amazing music they play too!

- Visit Trocadero which overlooks the Eiffel Tower from across the Seine River. You can enjoy panoramic views of all of Paris here before visiting another nearby attraction—the Palais de Chaillot Museums where there's plenty more to see with your ticket stub or student ID card ( available).

There are several museums to choose from so feel free to do a little exploring. The ticket costs around $15, but you should expect the wait to be at least an hour-long on busy days!- If you're looking for something more educational then check out Centre Pompidou which houses modern art.

This museum features rotating exhibits that are always interesting and diverse in style. You can enjoy this one all by yourself- students make up for free!

- Be sure not to miss Luxembourg Gardens during your stay in Paris either! They might be small but they offer some beautiful views of Parisian architecture as well as fun activities like picnics with friends or lunchtime yoga classes if that's what you prefer sign up online here).

Grilling is allowed as well if you feel like having a BBQ with your picnic. The gardens are often used for summer festivals and theater shows too, so be sure to check the schedule before visiting! - If you're looking for something fun then visit L'aquarium de Paris which features animals from all over the world including sharks and penguins (you can even feed them!).

There are also fish tanks containing marine life native only to France such as red coral and starfish! You'll find this one near Trocadero right next door to Centre Pompidou Museums—so it's worth checking out both while you're there.

- Take advantage of discounted admission at museums on national holidays or during free museum night every first Thursday of the month. -

If you want to do something a little more unique then visit La Defense which is an upscale mall with tons of shops and restaurants around it, as well as smaller malls inside including Galeries Lafayette!

It's one of the most iconic shopping areas in Paris so definitely check this out if that's what interests you.

Notre Dame Cathedral, Montmartre, Trocadero, Centre Pompidou Museums, Luxembourg Gardens are great places to explore.

L'Aquarium de Paris features marine life from all over the world including sharks and penguins! Visit La Defense for some shopping at upscale malls with restaurants too.

Have an amazing time in Paris on a budget!
