Everyone has a dream of spending their days lounging on a beach, passing their days sipping on a margarita as the tides lap at their toes. When it comes to bringing this to life, there is no better candidate than the Philippines. It is home to numerous islands with pristine white sand and stunning blue oceans creating an unparallel idyllic scenery unlike any other on earth. Magical moments await on your sandy adventure!

Things to keep in mind when going beach hopping

If you are hoping to begin your beach hopping journey in Manila, there are few tips and tricks to keep in mind to ensure that you have a pleasant experience overall. One of the first things to keep in mind that the communities surrounding Manila are some of the warmest people you will likely encounter and the beaches the gather around, stunning, to say the least.

When you are embarking on your journey, keep in mind that it is important to follow the adage that the early bird gets the worm. This means that the sooner you head to the beach the more time you have to enjoy yourself but it will also allow you to avoid any nasty traffic jams that may occur. If you are staying at any of the serviced residences in Makati such as the Somerset Olympia Makati, they will be able to advise you on what time you should leave to have an ideal experience during your stay.

Check out San Antonio, Zambales for a slice of heaven

True escapes from the dreary realities of day-to-day life can become quite burdensome if there is nothing to break the repetitive patterns. However, despite this, every single person has the choice to leave their desks behind and choose to find greener pastures. Even if, in this case, the greener pastures are on a sandy beach in the Philippines.

There is no better place to start your beach-hopping adventure than on the San Antonio, Zambales. Picture yourself settling in for a majestic sunset as birds chirp around you. Take a moment to venture into the surrounding oceans and be awe-inspired by the sight of Green Sea Turtles and adorable Hawksbill’s swimming around you as they hunt for food. All these experiences are what makes it completely worthwhile when breaking away from your routine in exchange for adventure!

Some compromises must be made, however. For example, if you are hoping for a varied dining experience each day then you may be a bit disappointed that there are very few options to choose from. However, if you can be happy with the local cuisines available, you will be in store for a once in a lifetime meal with an array of curries and other delicious dishes to choose from!

Do not miss out on the Nasugbu- Lian, Batangas

While the beach itself may not dazzle you at first glance, there are a large number of hidden treasures lying in wait for you. These treasures are namely the shipwreck diving sites that are home to sunken Dutch warships from the 1600s. Many visitors enjoy a boat ride across the waters in hope of getting up close and personal with the remnant of history that is now experiencing the ravages of time.

This beach can be accessed if you take the BLTB bus to Nasugbu. From there, it’s the scenic route using either a tricycle or a jeepney till you reach the beach. Alternatively, if you are going to the Matabungkay area, you should take the bus or van to Calatagan.
