Doha is a perfect holiday destination if you are in a metropolitan for a day or two, The thing inspired me was the perfect melt of its traditional and the modern life. There are many places to visit in Doha. If you are visiting Doha with family and have a short of time, you can visit plenty of places that have cultural and traditional experiences, several indoor and outdoor kids fun places, a Beach, and amazing dining options.

Places to visit & Things to do in Doha With Kids:

Take a Double Decker Trip To Doha:

Taking a tour on a double-decker was an amazing experience. Although I was alone in Doha and strolling in Souq Waqif, I saw a bus and asked for the ticket. I purchased tickets and got the seat in the last 5 seats in the upper part of the open-top bus. I have seen families riding the bus to have a very special city tour. Doha is famous for its night time views so mostly the families want a nighttime trip. Kids would enjoy having a good ambiance. School-age kids were singing a song with joy at the start and a time comes their energies went down and most of the kids went sleep.

The bus takes you to Souq Waqif, Museum of Islamic Arts, Shereton Park, Katara and ends the tour at the City center. It takes almost 2 and a half hours to get you to the major destinations in Doha.

Katara Cultural Village:

I love metropolitans of many countries as they expose you to the basic and cultural values and traditions of the country through their art centers, museums, and cultural parks etc. Katara cultural village is a place worth visiting because of the diverse and unique experiences it does have.

This cultural village has many entertainment points and shopping opportunities for you and your family. It is not only a heritage if you are getting bored, but a bunch of other activities too. Art galleries, amphitheatre, green parks for kids, souk and best restaurants to serve you a perfect dine. Opera House is also a must-visit destination in Doha.

Dhow with the Cruise around Doha:

Did you ride with the cruises before? If not, there is a surprise for you in Doha because you have an option to dhow with the cruises of your choice in Doha waters. I first thought that it would be one company and little range of ships and boats to go to a water tour. But my perception has changed when I sailed with the romantic waves and had a private dinner on the cruise.

It is not certain from where you will be leaving on a water trip because there are many destinations according to different companies that deal with water tourism in Doha. Check the rates of the cruise and set your timing with this activity in advance so that you and your family can avoid the hassle after a long journey. It will not cost you more than your expectations, at that time the cost me 20 Riyals and that could be the fare of one person. I’m not sure about your kids either they want a ticket or not. You will have options for romantic dining, musical activity, and mesmeric views from the cruise. Cruises are also an amazing option to bring your kids but don’t expect your kids to be more sensible. You need to be extra conscious.

Katara Beach is one of the famous ideas because of its beauty and green gardens attached to it. Bringing your family there can give you a good day experience.

Fuwairat Beach is the other option if you need more calm experiences. The reason why tourists are not happy with the beach is the facilities. You have to take your things with you. Even a sunshade, food, and beach toys too.
