Happy Monday, and welcome to a very special Monday Morning Huddle! Today, we embark on Stonehenge's sacred energy via a shared experience between my sisters and me yesterday.

On July 31, my parents and sisters took a vacation (holiday, if you are British) to my home country, England. Although I was initially deeply saddened because I was unable to make the trip, my sisters have done a fantastic job of making me feel included. Video calls with extended family have lifted my spirits, and a wonderful conference call yesterday from Stonehenge was nothing short of inspirational.

Moments filled with power-packed energy, for sure, and I knew straightaway the experience had to be featured in this week's huddle.

Before we dive into what some refer to as sacred energy, I will provide a brief overview of Stonehenge for anyone unfamiliar.

...

Stonehenge is not only one of Britain's most famous monuments, but it's one of the world's most intriguing mysteries. Located in Wiltshire, England, it is world-renowned for its prehistoric ring of stones dating to the Neolithic and Bronze ages. Despite centuries-long studies and interpretations, to date, many questions remain unanswered, specifically, the who, how, and why.

Built around the time of Egypt's Great Pyramid (estimated 4,500 years ago), Stonehenge comprises two stone types, Sarson (weighing an estimated 25 tons) and Blue Stone, transported from long distances with only simple tools and requiring hundreds of people to shape and erect the massive monument. Scientific evidence supports a crematorial burial ground, with excavations uncovering more than 50 bodies.

Modern archaeology excavations and techniques continue to provide more information, but a popular consensus states that Stonehenge was most likely a prehistoric temple aligned with the sun.

Opposing theories detail the origins lying with the Romans, while others support the Druids.

More out-of-this-world ideologies suggest ancient alien astronauts helped construct Stonehenge, supported by eyewitness accounts of strange lights and orb-like features captured on film.

Whether built by prehistoric natives or outsourced by alien intelligence, Stonehenge is one of the world's central puzzle pieces connecting humanity's past to the present, possibly to the future.

Sacred Energy Shared

My cover image was captured at precisely 2:02 pm (Stateside), 7:02 pm in England yesterday.

While my sister Sharon and I connected via Facebook Messenger, she took video footage as I snapped pictures on my phone. As she pivoted, I caught different angles of Stonehenge at various points of light interaction. The soon-to-be setting sun hitting the ancient monument felt like a wise elder's message received during a period of doubt or confusion.

If the stones could speak, they might say:

Look inside yourself for all your answers. Deeper than skin, deeper than bone; all questions retort within. DNA linking to ancestral heritage, those who've walked before you, past to present, then to now, ancient wisdom passed down, dead to the living. Energy never dies; it transmutes, transitions, repositions in lineage. You are wise because others have already made the journey. Their journey breathes in your spirit. All you must do is connect the dots.

This is what came to me during a meditation session.

Then I recalled a dream from the night before in which a sign read: "Marilyn's Rituals" followed by "Connect the dots."

Although my photo felt like a "reach out and touch me", calling from the stones, in reality, touching is not allowed. No leaning, touching, or climbing at Stonehenge, and only a limited time spent in the inner circle is permitted.

Stonehenge is indeed a sacred place and is designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

For Your Spiritual Consideration

My goal with this week's edition of the Monday Morning Huddle surpasses relaying pictures and personal revelations; the greater purpose is to encourage your participation.

Consider a meditation session and go within to access archived messages embedded in your spirit. Use my photos as a catalyst to open a portal and step into a threshold of wisdom, wisdom gained and recorded by your ancestors. Introspection meets protection; the ancient ones await your presence. Become present to access the past. Realize departed doesn't mean gone forever as energy shifts, but it never dies.

The great thing about Stonehenge is that it challenges our human-wired brains to think beyond our existence and what we think we know about our origins. Rich history, veiled with mystery, poses many questions, and even though some questions surrounding this monument have yet to be answered, the evidence at hand speaks of much determination and courage of ancient people collectively working to leave something magnificent behind for future generations.

Sharing a sacred experience without my actual physical presence doesn't diminish its value or the emotions I felt. My sisters visited Stonehenge, and I joined them virtually. Virtually linked to spiritually, and I can honestly say this was one of the most enlightening, uplifting moments of my life.

And so I share with you, hoping you might find your link, a line to the divine, via one of earth's greatest mysteries. There's so much magick waiting to unfold in this world, and I truly believe it lies within energy, energy accessible to all.

Closing out, I go back to my dream the night before the Stonehenge experience and reiterate this:

Then I recalled a dream from the night before in which a sign read: "Marilyn's Rituals" followed by "Connect the dots."

Occurrences of a dream paired with a sacred sighting encourage me to keep trying to connect the dots.

I hope you enjoyed today's edition of the Monday Morning Huddle and encourage everyone to honor their spiritual growth and continue connecting the dots...
