Costa Rica, at the heart of Central America's wildlife paradise, is flanked by the vast, cold Pacific Ocean on one side and the tropical Caribbean on the other. It is a kaleidoscope of biological evolution, far from spectacular, with the highest biodiversity of any country of its size.

Why is Costa Rica so rich in species? A seismic shift 10 million years ago, tectonic movements in the depths of the ocean created undersea volcanoes, which continued to erupt and form numerous islands, linking the previously unconnected North and South America. The great migration between North and South America began three million years ago when a land bridge was formed, and animals met in a bottleneck in Central America, creating an extraordinary diversity of life here. Costa Rica is home to at least six active volcanoes. Volcanic mountains cause regional differences in temperature and precipitation, creating different habitats and ecosystems on a small scale. There are 12 different ecosystems in Costa Rica alone. In order to survive in the leafy forest, animals have had to evolve all kinds of amazing skills to find food, mate, communicate, and avoid predators. Deep in the jungle, top predators are hidden, weird mammals climb the trees, and "the world's most beautiful birds" live here.

Adventure, sounds cool, go to Costa Rica for a real rainforest hike, you can walk through the wonderland of rain forest and cloud forest; Or enjoying some alone time on a desolate but perfect beach; Or soak in a hot spring in the Arenal region, view a volcano in the distance, and perhaps have a chance to see a spectacular splash of Mars.

Exploring the Monteverde Cloud Forest is like entering Alice's Wonderland. Located in central Costa Rica, it is a tropical rain forest at an altitude of about 1700 meters. It is also an ecologically diverse reserve, where many rare animals and plants live and grow. About 10 percent of the more than 2,500 plant species in Montevode Cloud Forest Reserve are endemic.

Driving along the mountain road, you can see exotic birds like pink spoonbills, macaws, crestbacks and hummingbirds you've never seen before. You can also watch spider monkeys moving through trees, leafcutter ants moving leaves on the ground; Or ride a horse to explore the secrets of the deep rainforest. Arenal is one of the most active volcanoes in the world and is the most famous and active volcano in Costa Rica. The conical crater of the Arenal Volcano National Park can be seen from anywhere for miles around, but against the blue sky and white clouds, it has an aura of grandeur. If luck is always on your side, you may see the green lake on the crater and the fast-moving clouds in the blue sky. The volcano with its light and shadow is the most beautiful sight you will ever see. Volcanoes erupt intermittently, creating high clouds of ash and deafening booms that can be seen tens of kilometers away.

At night, Arenal is one of the most spectacular volcanoes in Central America, with lava rolling down its slopes and melting rocks, creating eerie, mysterious and brilliant "fireworks" that often stretch for at least five kilometers. The lake near the volcano is another scene, with steaming hot spring rivers winding through it, making it possible to soak in hot springs almost anywhere. Costa Rica, a country known as the "Switzerland of Central America", is a place where you can live the life you want, pure and simple, waking up every day worrying about how to put food on the table. It is such a country of tropical rain forests that will surely make you dream.
