1. Tajmahal

This place comes first when we hear the name Agra. We are pretty accustomed to the story of this place. Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan built this beautiful architecture for his beloved wife Mumtaz. Constructed over 20 years of period, this heritage is considered the 7th wonder in the world.

2. Agra Fort

Recognized as the World Heritage site by UNESCO, this is another popular place in Agra. This place is also known as the walled city. It took almost 8 years and 4000 workers to build this beautiful fort.

3. Mehtab Bagh

It was built by Babur around 1500 AD to explore the beauty of the place. This is one of the less explored places in Agra. Rich with fountains, walkways, Mehtab Bagh was constructed in Persian style.

4. Jama Masjid

This is considered one of the largest mosques in the country, Jama Masjid was constructed by Shah Jahan for his beloved daughter, Jahan Ara Begum. Built by red sandstone and white marble, this place is known as the Friday Mosque.

5. Tomb of Akbar

Situated on the outskirt of the city, the Tomb of Akbar is another significant architecture in Agra. It was built by Akbar for his final resting place. This is interesting to know that the place is facing the rising sun.

6. Fatehpur Sikri

Built-in the 16th century, this place is located 40 km away from the city. Fatehpur Sikri was considered the World Heritage site by UNESCO. Its religious richness and architectural design attract many tourists from every part of the world.

7. Wildlife SOS

Wildlife SOS is South Asia's greatest and largest wildlife sanctuary which is an unprofitable organization. Their main purpose is to save the endangered species and give them a safe place. This place can be another attractive destination for you.
