What are some of the places that students would love to visit in Brisbane?

There are many amazing places that students can visit in Brisbane. Some popular places that students must explore during weekends include:

Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary

It's critical to get acquainted with native Australian animals. With the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary just 15 minutes from the Brisbane CBD, you may add koala time to your list in Brisbane. You'll be greeted by 130 cuddle-ready koalas at this world's first and largest sanctuary. Get a taste of the Australian outback without the hot climate and clouds of insects.

Sand Island - Moreton Island

Another stop on the Moreton Bay tour, it is a favourite destination for fishing and kayaking. Spend a day in the sun enjoying the natural surroundings and fresh air. The island is also home to a large colony of sea birds so keep a lookout. You don't have to go all the way to Australia's busy reef and sea life if you live in Brisbane. Take a ferry from Brisbane Port for a quick trip to Moreton Island. With the historic Tangalooma Wrecks, it is a tropical sand island with beautiful crystal-clear coastal water, lakes, and excellent snorkelling.

Mount Coot-tha

If you're looking for panoramic views of Brisbane and its surrounds, Mount Coot-tha is your spot. Drive up the winding roads to the summit and be rewarded with views that stretch all the way to the Glass House Mountains. On a clear day, you can even see as far as the Gold Coast. Pack a picnic lunch and enjoy at one of the many designated areas, or visit one of the cafes or restaurants if you don't feel like packing your own food.

The City Botanic Gardens

One of the many green lungs of Brisbane, the City Botanic Gardens is a picturesque haven in the city centre. With more than 50,000 plants from all over the world, it's easy to spend an afternoon wandering through the gardens. The gardens are also home to the heritage-listed Captain Cook Memorial Obelisk and a number of interesting sculptures. As well as being a beautiful spot for a relaxing stroll, the City Botanic Gardens are also a great place to learn about plants from all over the world.

Kangaroo Point Cliffs

If you're looking for a bit of an Adrenaline rush, the Kangaroo Point Cliffs are perfect. With a height of around 20 metres, these cliffs offer stunning views of the Brisbane River and CBD. If you're feeling daring, you can also abseil down the cliffs. Or, if heights aren't your thing, take a walk along the river bank for a more relaxing experience. On the banks of the Brisbane River, head to Kangaroo Point for open barbecue areas with views of the water.

Wheel of Brisbane

Some students love to explore the city by getting on a bike and going on a Wheel of Brisbane adventure. The Wheel of Brisbane offers panoramic views without the exertion required for a climb up the city as this is an air-conditioned wheel. Enjoy the ride at Wheel of Brisbane around the city at night to view the lights.
