Things to do in Aruba

I'd like to show you some of the amazing things to do in Aruba. There many Aruba attractions to list, and I've seen almost all of them!

Aruba, the adventurous Dutch Caribbean island, is one of the nicest vacation spots I've visited. If you're looking for a list of the finest things to do in Aruba for your next vacation, let me walk you through what to do in Aruba to enjoy the best vacation ever. Pack your bags, reserve a flight from DTW to Aruba, and spend the weekend with your loved ones.

1. Aruba’s Natural Pool

One thing is sure: you cannot enjoy Aruba unless you have a swimsuit packed. Nobody goes to a Caribbean island without taking a dip. Your resorts or luxury hotels may have excellent pools, but they pale in comparison to the famed Aruba natural pool. If you're daring, you'll enjoy the cliff-jumping options. The natural pool is surrounded by volcanic rock and has a depth of around 17 feet. It's crowded with other tourists, but that's part of the enjoyment. You must abide by all safety regulations while you are there.

2. Catamaran in Aruba

When you visit Aruba, you'll want to enjoy the sea's pleasures by visiting the Aruba beaches. I recommend a half-day catamaran and snorkeling excursion; it's a once-in-a-lifetime event. All you need is the calm and peace that comes with sitting on the spacious sun deck with a cocktail beneath a covered cabin top. During your excursion, you can have a great dinner made by the island's top chefs or a refreshing beer from the open bar. This is without a doubt one of the most enjoyable things to do in Aruba; you MUST do it! You can also appreciate the beauty of the sea by looking below the waterline. Snorkeling is another exciting pastime you won't want to miss!

3. Arikok National Park in Aruba

Arikok National Park covers 20% of Aruba, so avoiding it will be impossible... But why would you want to in the first place? Arikok National Park contains almost 20 kilometers of hiking paths as well as some fantastic indigenous flora and animals. Throughout the park, park rangers are on hand to answer inquiries and offer hiking excursions. Arikok National Park should be high on your list of entertaining things to do in Aruba. You can't see everything in the Park in a single day, but you can get a fair sense of what it's all about.

4. Beaches in Aruba

When I visited Aruba, Eagle Beach was recently ranked as the best beach in the world on Trip Advisor, and I was staying across the street at the Amsterdam Manor Hotel. Crossing the road and seeing the white beaches and blue colors of the sea in front of me was a magnificent sight. The beaches are one of the top things to do in Aruba and one of the main reasons people come here. Mancheba Beach is depicted in the image below. A private beach for anyone staying at the Mancheba Beach Resort or doing one of my yoga classes there.

5. Explore Aruba

Touring the island with someone else at the wheel is an excellent idea, regardless of the form of transportation (jeep or bus). You will have the opportunity to see every major tourist attraction. On the tour, you'll also see Aruba's oldest church, the Natural Pool, the Alto Vista Chapel, and the California Lighthouse. But, if you want more solitude and luxury, you can rent a jeep. We rented a car one day and had a terrific time! If you want to travel in comfort, the Best of Aruba by Bus tour includes the same highlights.
