Jamaica is a beautiful island with so much to see and do. There are many beaches, waterfalls and other natural wonders that make it a great vacation destination for tourists from all over the world. Here are some of the top Jamaican must see places:

Dunn's River Falls

If you're looking for a place to swim, climb and take pictures of yourself at the same time, Dunn's River Falls is your spot. Located in Ocho Rios, this natural waterfall has become one of Jamaica's most popular tourist attractions in recent years.

The waterfall is formed by the Rio Grande, which runs through limestone rock formations that are exposed as water rushes through them and creates small pools of water above the falls. It has been named one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World due to its lush vegetation and beautiful scenery along with its ability to provide recreational activities such as swimming and rock climbing for visitors.

Negril's Seven Mile Beach

  • Between Ocho Rios and Montego Bay in Jamaica, you'll find one of the island's most popular tourist destinations: Negril.
  • Named after the native word nikel, which means "to be refreshed," this quaint town is home to some of Jamaica's best beaches.
  • In fact, it's known as a haven for sun-seekers and watersports enthusiasts due to its long stretch of white sand beach - one that's good for swimming, snorkeling and scuba diving. The water surrounding this area is also known for being calm, clear blue (with visibility up to 20 meters).
  • If you're looking for some fun in the sun but don't want to leave your hotel room all day long, there are plenty of activities available right onsite at many resorts in Negril such as parasailing or jet skiing (there are even more adventurous options like cliff jumping!).

Blue Lagoon

The Blue Lagoon is a popular tourist destination in Jamaica. It's a natural pool of water located within the lush vegetation and mountainous landscape of Ocho Rios. Considered one of the most beautiful spots on the island, it boasts crystal clear waters that are ideal for swimming, snorkeling or diving.

Blue Lagoons' mild temperatures make it an ideal place to enjoy all year round; however, its popularity means that you'll want to get there early if you want to avoid crowds or book ahead if you want access to amenities like lockers or towels.

Montego Bay

Montego Bay is the second largest city in Jamaica. It's known as a popular tourist destination with its numerous resorts and hotels, great restaurants and entertainment venues. The Bob Marley Museum has also made this place a must-see for visitors who have come to experience the culture of Jamaica.

In addition to its attractions such as these museums and resorts, Montego Bay offers you much more to see including mountains that overlook the city from above as well as ocean views from any point on land where you are standing or sitting down.

Jamaica has lot of beaches and waterfalls to visit.

Jamaica has lot of beaches and waterfalls to visit. Dunn's River Falls, the island's most famous attraction, is a must-see for anyone visiting Jamaica. The falls are located in Ocho Rios, between Montego Bay and Port Antonio on the eastern side of the island. It's an easy drive from either city and can be combined with other attractions in either location (the beach at Negril or Blue Lagoon).

The cascading waterfall runs through several pools and over rocks and boulders until it ends at a deep pool where swimmers can swim under the falls itself before exiting into another pool below. There is also a small cave near the bottom where you can exit if you prefer more privacy than bathing with others under those circumstances!

For those who don't want swimwear but still want to cool off after hiking up Dunn's River Falls there are also changing rooms available so visitors can have some privacy when getting ready for their next adventure!

Conclusion

We hope this article has given you some ideas on how to spend your time in Jamaica. There are so many things that make this island unique and we want everyone who visits to be able to experience them!
