24 hours only Nashville
According to a frequent visitor
If I was just visiting Nashville, I would stay in East Nashville for 2 nights to have a true 24 hours. It's totally worth it to get the hotel if you want the full 24 hours. First thing I would do after I wake up and get ready is go downstairs for breakfast. While I'm down there, I'll set up the earliest shuttle I can for the morning then go upstairs to finish getting ready. When it's time I'll catch the shuttle. If I couldn't get a shuttle early enough to my liking I would use lyft/uber.
When I get to downtown I will immediately go to the batman building for coffee. Prickly pear is on the first floor of the AT&T/ batman building. I go to this location because of how close it is to Broadway. If you don't know why the batman building is called that then look up a picture or go there- it's the points on the top of the building. It's one of the coolest buildings in the skyline. Then I will sit in there or on the steps of the Ryman to drink at least a little bit of the coffee. Then walk back to the Country music museum and hall of fame. Walking while I drink if I have any of my coffee left. There is always something new or you may just want to experience the museum. The "circle room" with all the plaques of the hall of famers is a site to behold.
Then after that I would head back to Broadway for lunch and drinks. I might even dance at Category 10. I always suggest bouncing around to different bars. All the bars have different vibes and such. If I was feeling really ambitious I would even try to see what's going on printers alley. After I got done with Downtown, I go back to catch my shuttle (or uber/Lyft) to go back to the hotel to rest and get some water. This is one of the many perks of having the hotel room. Nashville can be overwhelming~ especially Broadway. If you go in the summer or anytime it's hot in the American south it will be humid and hot which is very overwhelming. Then on top of that there's the music and crowds.
Then depending on how late it is I would go to the Gaylord Opryland hotel to walk around there amazing gardens. Gaylord is huge and is an easy walk from the hotel I like to stay in. I may even grab a drink there. I may even look around the shops. It's gorgeous with a lot to see.
Before I go back to my hotel I will go to scoreboards for one last drink and to listen to a few more songs. I would also grab a bite to eat there. I want to get as much out of Nashville as I possibly can. Scoreboards is more of the dive bar/ sports bar vibe. If scoreboard is too busy then I would go to Nashville Palace. After I'm officially tired and done, I will go back to the hotel. I would take my time decompressing and getting ready for bed. Nashville is one of those cities where you need some time to decompress before you go to bed.
Nashville is an amazing city. I go mainly for the music side of things. There are people who may want to go for the nature side of things which is awesome. If I'm staying more days those would be perfect days to redo or see anything I missed. But what I covered here is the perfect day in Nashville.
