We explored Seattle a few weeks ago, and absolutely loved our time there so I wanted to share with y’all some of our favorites! We were visiting some friends in Bellingham, Washington which is about an hour away from Seattle, so we explored Bellingham for the weekend and then Seattle for a few days. We landed in Seattle on Thursday, and returned to Texas that next Tuesday night, and rented a car Friday-Tuesday. I’ll break down our itinerary and our favorite spots below. :)

THURSDAY: Landed in Seattle, checked into our hotel (we stayed at Silvercloud Hotel Stadium). The hotel’s location was great-short Lyft ride to Pike Place Market and downtown area. It was also directly across the street from Safeco Field. It’s definitely an older, more outdated hotel lol, but it’s fine because it was still nice and the location was great. We explored Pike Place Market, ate at Chan Seattle (which was our favorite meal of the trip)-so delish! And of course we also had to check out the OG Starbucks!

FRIDAY: We woke up, grabbed breakfast at Biscuit Bitch (SO DELISH!!). We explored the Space Needle, the Chihuly Garden and Glass Museum, and then made our way to Bellingham to visit our besties. We had so much fun doing the Space Needle and the glass museum (I know it’s super touristy, but it was seriously amazing- highly recommend!)

FRIDAY EVENING THRU MONDAY MORNING: We spent the weekend with our friends in Bellingham and they took us to the cutest little spots! Just FYI, Bellingham is about 1.5 hour drive from Seattle. Some of the spots I will list were actually outside of Bellingham, but worth the drive! Some of our favorites included a gorgeous hike in Bow Washington, oysters at Taylor Shellfish farm, Sunny Alpacas alpaca farm, more oysters at Drayton Harbor oyster company, tacos and margs at Black Sheep, dinner at Saltine.

MONDAY/TUESDAY: We drove back to Seattle and rented an Airbnb in a neighborhood in Seattle called Ballard. We loved this little cottage and neighborhood. We walked to some really cool restaurants and bars from this Airbnb and I would definitely stay here again! On our drive back to Seattle, we stopped at Snoqualmie Falls (this was probably like 30 minutes out of the way, but we wanted to stop by and see it) and it was absolutely beautiful.

Some of the places we ate at and loved in Ballard were:

Breakfast: Biscuit & Bean // Brunch: Watsons Counter // Dinner: Sawyer

On our way back to the airport, I was craving some good poke so we decided to stop at FOB poke bar and OMG—best poke I’ve ever had!

Have y’all been to Seattle? If so, what was your favorite thing you did?
