“I was in pain on Payne.” – Norma Herr

This quote makes so much sense for me. I think what she means is we all have pain, depending on our triggers. I’m only speculating but I think something happened to Norma Herr just like any of us. We all have our own traumatic events that happen to us, it’s whether we can handle it or not. When it comes to triggers, I don’t think we know our limits until we face them. As humans we are hardwired to think and take things for granted to be honest. Until everything is taken away by shire fate, are our intentions tested. To protect identities I have changed the names so that way even though this is true facts I am protected from defamation of character.

Synopsis: On March 28th, 2023 that’s when my whole world changed. It’s when I had to leave my husband in Saint Lucia to fix my mistakes. My fight was very much emotional and heartbreaking. All the while observing how everyone acts, and the staff are, I can honestly say Bates Motel is safer than this place. I think the hardest thing by far is writing this memoir of experience. Norma Herr Women’s Center is a kind of place you just want to forget. But like the experience a lot of us face we need to share it. Especially since there has been some good of what came out of this. As a woman I am a survivor of so many different kinds of atrocities that no one should go through. And the thing is it’s not just women who go through it, men do too. In our society today, men are told to be strong but that shouldn’t be. As I said we all reach our limits. In this true story, you will just know the true story of what I experienced in this place. A full account I saw with my own eyes. A Sample of Chapter 1 My plane landed at Cleveland Hopkins Airport around one o’ clock in the morning. I was nervous all day because again I had to leave my home to fix the mistakes of others. I think that was when I washed my hands of all the experiences that led me to my biological family. As soon as I landed I found my way to the nearest police officer terrified of them myself. Never once hearing good news about them, but I found an officer at the nearest post. My words were clear yet true.“ Sir, my name is Emily Aurelien, I am homeless. This is a new city for me and I don’t know what to do next.”

About the Author: Emily's life has never been easy, not until recently when her whole world changed she became free. She lost so much but gained so much in the end. Emily has had so many struggles in life, but somehow everything ends up going as it should. She is happily married to her husband living a happy life, everything is changing constantly in her life yet one thing never has faded her love for writing. Nothing has been easy then again the hard lessons never are. I have a great book cover designer. She lost everything when it came to her family but she couldn't be a part of that life. So she forged her own path, though never easy she never gives. Emily was employed at a hotel where she was a laundry girl, and never got to work the front desk as promised. As time went on, all the times she was told she couldn't hold down a job, all of them saying that she proved them wrong. Emily is an animal lover, and enjoys a good book. She is addicted to coffee and Chai Lattes. She wants her Readers to know that she has a good life, and her life doesn't revolve around writing 100% of the time. Emily has a passionate dream to own a nonprofit shelter.
