Why is Michael Gove the holder of the PM Future

Michael Gove the man in a hurry has been in control of the Department of Levelling up, communities and Local Government and currently holds the position of Secretary of state for levelling up and Minister for Intergovernmental affairs.

Michael Gove is the Man in the cabinet with most experience out of the last 15 years has had 14 years in the conservative frontbench starting off as Education secretary and now has the job of levelling up more urban areas such as Sheffield and Wolverhampton. The “Party Gate” scandal has shocked British Politics with the UK having the first Prime Minister to break his own Covid Laws. I’m sure that when the report is published there will be from individuals concerned recognition, contrition and so on, and you know we owe them an element of Christian forgiveness. This is a direct quotation of what Michael Gove said back in January, however recently he has not said anything publicly backing his prime minister and instead focusing on levelling up.

Back in 2016 and 2019 Michael Gove came 3rd in the Race to become the next Prime Minister with 46 MPs in 2016 and in 2019 as Environment Secretary he had 51 MPS Backing him including the current Environment Secretary George Eustine. Michael Gove himself is from a Working-Class background and is adopted and has shown true conservative values of Growing up to be whatever he wants to be through hard work. Michael Gove in September 2021 was Giving the Important Job of Dealing with the conservative Pledge to Level Up the country. He has Pledge to put the money into the hands of the working class. His department has pledged to do the following

Increase pay, employment and productivity in all areas of the UK, with each one containing a "globally competitive city"

- Raise public investment in research and development outside the south-east of England by 40%

- Eliminate illiteracy and innumeracy by refocusing education spending in the most disadvantaged parts of the country

- Increase the number of people completing high quality skills training - in England, this will mean 200,000 more people a year

- Bring the rest of the country's public transport "significantly closer" to London standards

- Provide access to gigabit-capable broadband nationwide by 2030 and 5G mobile data coverage for the "large majority" of households

- Create more first-time homebuyers in all areas, and reduce the number of "non-decent rented homes" by 50%

- Narrow the gap of healthy life expectancy between the areas where it is lowest and highest

- Improve "well-being" in every area of the UK

- Increase "pride of place", such as people's satisfaction with their town Center and engagement in local culture and community

- Reduce murder, manslaughter, serious violence and neighborhood crime, especially in the worst-affected areas

- Give every part of England that wants it a devolution deal with more regional powers and simplified, long-term funding

This Policys is focus of helping the working class and giving more powers to local Authorities. This Plan has gain support from Many Key figures who Represent the Working class such as Unions and Andy Burnham (Metro Mayor of Manchester)

Michael Gove has been spectuled of the news to be a ideal canidate to replace Priti Patel as Home Secretary or Rishi Sunak as the Chancellor of the Exechuqe due to his ablity to reform as the Department of Levlling Up has took the Ukraine Home Scheme away from the Home Department and the Tresuary Powers for Local Goverment. For one of this senior Postions Michael Gove will have to publically back Boris Johnson more and more,however this could have an impact of his levelling up agenda.

The Problem is that Due to the attention Michael Gove is Gaining from his Agenda and the support his is getting as the policy of levelling is the only domestic policy the Government can try and focus on as Boris Johnson support from the Working Class has been Shredded by the scandals of his government. Gove Represents the path the Government needs to go down to win back working-class people and many conservative MPs know this and Secretary Michael Gove Now needs to decided does his Support Boris Johnson for the possibly of a More Senior Cabinet Position or does he stand up For the Working Class and decided to ask for the resignation of Boris Johnson where he would be the ideal candidate for Domestic Policy to be the next Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.
