Where Are The Peaceful Muslims?

At this moment being a Jew is not terrifying to me. Because this is our reality since the time we called ourselves Jews, and decided to follow that most sacred book we call the Torah.

Perhaps it is all allegory and just words written by someone high out of their minds on hash who was wandering the desert. Or perhaps it is the truth from our ancestors. I mean really? Miracles being performed, Eve taken out of Adams rib, Sarah conceiving a child at the age of ninety?

And now we have these cousins. Yes, in case you didn’t know the Arabs are cousins of Jews because Abraham, the father of all nations who couldn’t father a child with his wife was unable to find a Jewish woman to be the mother of his children so he fathered a child with their slave girl. I believe her name was Hagar. And thus! Hallelujah (a Hebrew word mind you) a child was born unto Abraham.

So the entire Islamic community should actually consider the Jews their cousins. They just took their religion of Islam, which is of course is less than 800 years old, well they took it a little too far. The women cover their heads, just like Jewish women, and the religious women are forced into arranged marriages, just like Jewish women. They can’t go anywhere without their husband, just like Orthodox Jewish woman. Well, the list goes on and on about how much Islam has stolen from their Jewish cousins, including the Halal preparation of food.

Here’s what I would like to ask? If there is more than one billion Muslims in the world, and Islam is a “religion of peace” why are the only Muslims protesting screaming to free Palestine?

It just never seems enough for the Palestinians. No matter how much land Israel gives them, no matter how many of their prisoners they release, no matter how many settlements they give back, the terror doesn’t stop.

So, answer me another question. If Jerusalem is so important to the Muslim community, why do they pray in the direction of Mecca? If Jerusalem is so important to the peaceful Muslims, why aren’t they demonstrating against the destruction against their cousins who were fathered by the same prophet Abraham?

My answer is often peaceful people only want peace unto themselves. It is not convenient nor comfortable to protest against your own brethren. It is safer to stay home with your family and protect them against all costs from your own community that would rather kill you just the same as any Jew if you say a word against them. So, again I ask, where are the peaceful Muslims? If you are a truly peaceful Muslim then you know we are cousins.
