What is this world coming to?

Is it the end or nearing the end

What is this world coming to? Too much is going on. We have a president like Trump not really doing much to help the situations at hand. Trump seems to have a child like mind. He seems like he does not know what to do. His responses to situations are just ridiculous. He doesn't have the right people helping him.

what we are going through now is black people trying to get justice for their loved ones who were killed for no reason by police officers. We have witnessed a kill of a black man named George Floyd live on Facebook. George Floyd was killed by a police officer who had his knee on his neck. We watched him yelling out he can't breathe, and started calling for his mother. That was the most painful thing to watch. Because of it, it sparked a nationwide protest of black people seeking justice, not only for George Floyd, but for every black person was killed for no reason by police officers. Just to name a few of them: Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown, Philandro Castillo, Breonna Taylor, Tamir Rice, Freddy Garner, and Ahmaud Arbery (he was lynched by a retired police officer and his son). This really hurt.

For many decades, black people have been fighting against the injustices, and equality. This goes past the days of Martin Luther King and Malcolm X. It was way before Rosa Parks sitting on the front of the bus, even though she is not the first woman to do that. Have you ever heard of a woman named Recy Taylor. Here is her story. In 1944 Recy Taylor was on her way home from church, and six white teenagers approached her, put her in a car, blind folded her and took her to a place where she was gang raped by those kids. Once they were done, they took her back to where they saw her at.

Recy Taylor wanted justice for what those six white teenagers did to her. The problem was, she never saw who the six teenagers were, because she was blind folded. This is where Rosa Parks came in. Rosa Parks sat with the NAACP, and brought Recy Taylor's story to the light. She fought to help her get justice for what happened to her. They wrote a petition, they protested to hold the teenagers accountable for their actions. After all they have done. The six teenagers were found not guilty. Once it was over, The only thing she got was an offer of $600 dollars for her pain, and an apology. That will never be enough for what she endured.

Because of what happened to Recy Taylor, she never had any kids, and she never married. Her being raped damaged her. she died in 2017 not getting the justice she deserved. All of the six men died a horrible death behind it. Then years later you have Rosa parks being arrested for not getting up out the seat. Then you have Martin Luther King, fighting for equality for black people. Now forward till now, we are still fighting for equality. We are still fighting to be treated fairly. Sadly, the system is set up to kill off all black people. Doesn't matter what the person did.

Going back to George Floyd. George Floyd was accused of using a counterfeit $20 bill. The police was called, instead of just arresting him, the cop killed him having his knee on his neck. Because that happened and it was recorded, It sparked a nationwide protest in all States and even countries. black people are getting tired of their own people being killed by the hands of the police. Black families of people who have been killed by police officers deserve to get justice for their loved ones. When will this stop? When will black people stop being killed? Since the tragedy death of George Floyd, Racist people have been coming out of the wood works. Racist people have been doing illegal things, and blaming it on a black person. Racist people have been trying to make false reports to the police. Prime example, Amy cooper. She falsely accused a black man for attacking her.

Then you have another white person attacking an interracial couple because she did not like it. then you have white pastors like Rod Parsely telling black people to be quiet, or another pastor saying they are blessed to have a white blessing. Where is the coronavirus. It seems to have taken a back seat. I believe, that during the trump campaign, the statements that trump made incited a race division among blacks and Mexicans and white people. We have watched videos of white people pushing black people out of places where trump was speaking. Is trump going to stand up and put and end to it, or is he helping to bring in martial law? Something has to happen to allow black people to be equal and be treated fairly.

If you remember over 30 years ago, when Amadou Diallo was shot 43 times by cops, and the family did not get justice for him. When Sean Bell was shot 50 times by cops, The family may have received a settlement, but the cops never served time. Many of the cops today have exposed themselves to who they really are. many of them belong to the Klu Klux Klan. Since the protesting, many things are changing. Quaker is taking Aunt Jemima, Ms. Butterworth, and uncle Ben's off the shelf, even though there has been a fight about it for years. Now that black people are fighting for equality, Quaker wants to change and respect the black communities, when they should have done it years ago.

I really hope that all families get the justice they deserve. It is not fair that black people are dying for no reason. There needs to be an overhaul on the police department. Before hiring new cops, they need to look at why they were fired from their last job. It seems that most of these police officers are coming from other police departments with a bad background of abuse or assault. They should never be hired in any other police department. There also needs to be better training for police officers. They need to dismantle the system of killing black people. Many police officers are quitting their jobs now, because they can't do what they want to do when it comes to certain people. I don't want to see history repeat itself, even though it is at some point. I really want to see a change take place, like ending racism. We all bleed the same color of blood. There is no reason to hate on each other. Why not love each other. This country lied. If you have in God we trust in all courtrooms, why are you not trusting God. Nobody is being led by God. Lets change america for the better, not for worse. We can say all lives matter, but black lives don't matter. Black lives need to matter too.
