The simplest, easiest and most universally accepted definition of democracy was given by Abraham Lincoln, the 16th President of the United States. He was president of the country from 1861 to 1865. He became president at a time when the United States was suffering from an identity, a constitutional and political crisis, as well as a civil war. As soon as he became president, he devoted himself to solving these problems and abolishing slavery and ending the civil war. Extreme racist hatred was rife at the time, with Chief Justice Roger B. Tenny ruling that blacks were not citizens of the United States and had no constitutional rights. Lincoln fought against the verdict and established the rights of blacks. He said that all people are equal and everyone has equal rights. Lincoln ended the Civil War and united the United States under the federal government. Speaking at a rally after the end of the civil war, he said every American would live under one umbrella under one Creator. He concluded by saying, "Government of the people, by the people, for the people." The government will be elected by the people, by the will of the people, and will work for the people. This statement of his is considered as the full definition of democracy and gained popularity. This is his first post on the definition of democracy. Abraham Lincoln was one of the architects of the United States as a democracy. He established the United States as a nation of freedom of speech, the abolition of slavery, the end of apartheid, and a nation of multinationals. Since then, the United States has been an example to other countries. Americans are also proud of their country's democracy. But more than 150 years later, outgoing President Donald Trump has given Abraham Lincoln a major push in the United States. After being elected in 2016, he almost destroyed the basic structure of the United States. With the slogan "True America or America First," he incited racism in the multinational United States. Caused division among whites, blacks, blacks, and immigrants from different countries. As a result of his policy, extremist whites rose to prominence. They became vocal against blacks and immigrants. Such a policy by Trump has provoked strong negative reactions worldwide. Analysts have commented that Trump is in the process of turning the United States into a fragmented state. Destroying the heritage of the United States.

Trump provoked whites as soon as he was elected president. Immigrants control it by tightening policy. Citizens of several countries are barred from entering the United States. One kind of 'madness' began to appear in his activities. However, as a presidential candidate in 2016, he was criticized for making various comments. Analysts at the time also spoke of his mental health examination due to contradictory statements. Even then the Americans elected him president. It is alleged that the ambassador provided the information to Hussein. Despite the controversy, there was no obstacle for him to become president. Once elected, he continues to strike at the very fabric of the United States with a series of controversial decisions and statements. One of his weapons was to spread racism. True America's policy spreads hatred between whites and non-whites. He created divisions in American society by inciting his supporters. The blacks and immigrants are in extreme distress. Racism and riots have spread across the United States since a black man was killed by police last year. Violence erupted in several states. Trump's provocative remarks and support were behind the riots. The beginning of the 'Black Lives Matter' movement. From the Prime Minister of Canada to the heads of government of different countries, this movement is seen to support. The source of the movement was the beginning of 'Muslim Lives Matter' against the persecution of Muslims in different countries including India. To suppress this racist movement, Trump eventually had to send troops. It is said that a few months before the election, Trump wanted to overcome the electoral dilemma by bringing his old weapon racism to the fore. He thought that if he could wake up the whites like in 2016, he would easily win the election. Not only that, there is no way for Trump to win the election that he did not adopt. Spreading hatred towards blacks, he took the path of establishing white supremacy, and even sought China's cooperation to win the election. He realized that his path to victory in this election was gradually narrowing. His glimpse was also found in various surveys. The results were becoming clear that Joe Biden was going to be the winner. As a result, he was able to anticipate defeat and before the election, he remarked that even if defeated, he would not relinquish power easily. The White House will decide whether to leave or not. Trump was defeated in the end, proving all election predictions to be true. After the defeat, he became even more insane, behaving a lot more unbalanced. The election has been rigged, the results have been overturned, including various complaints. He even filed cases in the courts of different states. He lost in these cases. When all his hopes were extinguished, he resorted to violence as a last resort to seize power. With his fierce supporters, he attacked the Congress building on Capitol Hill in Washington last week. This is the second such incident in the history of the United States in 206 years. The building was first attacked and set on fire by the English in 1814. In 2021, US President Trump directly fueled the attack. At a rally near the White House on the day of the attack, Trump told his supporters, "We will march on the Capitol. We will encourage our brave senators and members of Congress. You have to show your determination. ”Immediately after his remarks, thousands of Trump supporters marched on Capitol Hill. They went there to protest and attack. According to observers, the attack was not on Capitol Hill, but on US democracy. Trump has tried to establish a dictatorial regime in the United States by destroying democratic systems and institutions. They called the attack a "failed coup" by Trump. As Trump's last weapon in power failed, he is now in danger of being punished. With a few days left in power, he could face impeachment and punishment for other crimes, including abuse of power after leaving power. He is now looking for a way to get forgiveness for this nasty incident. Whether he will be pardoned now depends on the democratic-minded leadership of the United States.

Three

After hundreds of attempts, Trump has to relinquish power. But can the blow and stigma he inflicted on US democracy be easily erased? Or if Trump had been re-elected president, what would have happened to the United States? Such questions are now coming back. Because, although the United States is weaker than before in world politics, it is still the number one superpower. As much as he has allies in the world, he also has the ability to exert influence in different countries. The way Trump has pursued the politics of monopoly power without heeding the democratic norms of the United States has also had an impact on different countries. If we look at India, we will see that Modi's sole authority has been established in the country which is known as one of the most democratic countries in the world. Pushing democracy backwards, he is doing whatever he wants. Has established an authoritarian government. Just as Trump has tried to turn the United States into a white state through racist policies, so has the Modi government tried to turn India into a Hindu state by eliminating Muslims. It has also affected France, Germany and Brazil. China has changed its constitution to one-man rule. Russia is following the same path. Many Third World countries have become authoritarian and enthusiastic about Trump's policies. Naturally, if the regimes of the influential countries of the world, including the United States, become authoritarian, its effects will be felt in the developing countries as well. Because, countries depend on the policies and control of the influential countries in one way or another. Trump's response to the damage done to the democratic system and institutions of the United States has done great damage to world democracy. If he had been re-elected, the world situation would not have been possible. Democracy would become a bookish principle. Despite the word democracy, dictatorship would have become stronger in its twist. Enthusiastic about Trump's policies, the governments of the countries that became the head of the monopoly power will now lose their enthusiasm. The way the Modi government was overjoyed with Trump, towards the end of Trump's rule, will now be at least somewhat stagnant. It's not hard to imagine what Trump would have done in this subcontinent if he had won. Needless to say, democracy is by far the most acceptable policy to the people. As this ensures his freedom of speech, it also makes it difficult for anyone to run the country beyond the will and will of the people. Abraham Lincoln, the United States has become a prosperous country today because of the establishment of a government run by the people. The people of the country are free to express their views. As the foundations of democracy are solid, stubborn, greedy and power-hungry presidents like Trump have to relinquish power. Otherwise, the history, tradition, and coexistence of many races and ethnicities in the United States would have been shattered. In countries where a dictatorship and authoritarian regime is in place, it is not difficult to feel the condition of the people. However, it has already been seen that such a system of governance is not permanent. In many countries, democratic rule has been established with the end of authoritarian rule. Although there are flaws in the full establishment of democracy, the people are satisfied with what has been implemented.

Four

It is now the responsibility of newly elected President Joe Biden to restore the democracy that Donald Trump has inflicted on the collective position and residence of people of all faiths and castes and has created disunity and division. As soon as he comes to power, he has to bring the people under the same umbrella by continuing the trend of democracy in the United States. Because the people of the United States have elected Trump to explain that they do not accept the divisive politics, the racist policies of the people, and the anti-democratic regime. If he is influenced by Trump's policies, he will not be able to establish the United States as one state. Rather, he must be determined to uproot Trump's policies and preserve the reputation of a democratic and multi-ethnic country. This has been proven by the defeat of Trump in the people's verdict, the people put democracy first. There are also lessons to be learned from the US election for the governments of countries that have followed Trump's policy. In a democracy, the verdict of the people is the last word, they have to accept it. The people who do not accept authoritarian or democratic dictatorships and have to relinquish their power and face justice at some point will have to learn from Trump's defeat and consequences.
