We all want justice for George Flloyd.

What happened to him is unspeakable. It's not fair. It's disgusting. The system is corrupt. There's been way too much of this. And something needs to be done to change it. Something drastic.

But when did violence ever become the right answer? When did burning buildings become a way to speak?

Martin Luther King Jr and Ghandi never made a difference being violent. They're remembered because they created lasting change for a better world in a peaceful approach. They won the hearts of everyone and changed other's minds by showing the best parts of their soul and humanity.

Not every cop is bad. We've seen the stories of corrupt cops yes. But what about the cops that have wanted their whole lives to protect the lives of others and fight crime? The ones that are good? That have families they go home to. Fathers? Brothers? Sisters? Sons? Daughters? Friends? What about the cops that risk their lives every single day to make sure that we are ensured safety in life? Cops that are there to help us when our next door neighbor is dealing with an abusive spouse and has no one to turn to? No other means of seeking help? What about the cops that protect us from people that would try to hurt us? Serial killers? What about the cops that love to watch sports games just like you. The cops that love fishing, the outdoors, White Claws? The neighbor you run into once in a while and exchange a kind smile? The good ones that still exist.

You might think, what about the cops that are bad? and I agree 100% that we've seen the news reports of corruption. But the world is filled with more good cops than bad. Or else none of us would have the safety we do now. That's not to say that we are to forget this situation BY ANY MEANS. But not to let the bad cops do more damage to the world than they already have. To not let the bad guys hide the good ones that still exist.

I see protesters yelling at cops on the street. Trying to start fights. Burning down their cars and buildings.

We want justice. We all want justice badly. And that energy is valuable if directed in the most strategic way.

Burning a building. Throwing hands. Might possibly speak louder than what you want to say.

What if your message can't be heard? Would it be possible that all others see is a group of people who got so angry that they burned down a building?

It makes the people who burned the building look bad.

And it's not enough to communicate a real message.

Your message is so important. But how can we voice it in a stronger way where it is truly heard?

We want racism to end. We want better treatment towards others.

But how are we going to get anyone to treat others better when we are not leading by example?

How are we going to get others to give fair treatment? If we are treating them so harshly?

How are we going to expect that good in humanity to come out, if we do not show the highest good within ourselves?

Taking a peaceful approach to change isn't being a weak sitting duck. It's showing the world by example that you are so human. You do the right thing. Sharing your voice in strategic ways that are truly heard. In ways that touches everyone's hearts and are never forgotten.

Don't let your side be the side that looks bad.

Who has created real change in our world? Martin Luther King Jr.

Is this something he would've been proud to see?

I'm not asking anyone to tone down their desire for justice one bit. Only asking we all find another way that speaks the message we actually want out in stronger ways.

What do you actually want? I want justice. But what does that look like exactly?

How can we go about to achieve that in higher means?

What speaks louder than violence and fires?

What will actually produce lasting change and justice?
