To All My Social Media

In this time of unknowns, social media may be one of the casualties. Political or opinions can cause one to be banned or deleted. There are too many variables at stake to risk losing touch. Too much information, some good, some bad. Some true, some false. Some skewed in either direction for influences we don’t understand.

We need to keep informed and stay connected. We need to see all that is there and decide for ourselves what we want to believe. Half-truths and misinformation are unacceptable.

For this reason, I am posting this on my social media platforms. Please stay connected.

Mewe

As an alternative to Facebook . One that is not controlled by social media. Maybe we should start thinking about alternatives. Mewe has been around for a while. The time has probably come to start using it. We are supposed to be in control of our content so we can decide where it goes and what is done with it. Facebook and other platforms have censored and even deleted many things lately. From law enforcement with thousands of members/friends to the Presidency.

When you don’t agree with their agenda they simply turn you off. You don’t have a voice so how can your message get out. We need to change that.

Is this the answer? Probably not the whole answer but it is definitely a step in the right direction. We need to keep our stuff under our control. We need our own websites with contact pages so that we don’t lose our ability to stay in touch.

Should we delete our social media accounts. No! We need to keep track of what they are doing. We should probably go into “READ ONLY” mode and only post when necessary.

The financial institutions are also doing some manipulation. Freezing some accounts for not following their agenda. Controlling with their policies. Some businesses are being forced to close because they don’t have control of their money. If they cannot pay their bills or buy what they need to operate then they are not in control.

The powers that be have too much control and we need to take some of it back. We need them. They don’t need us. They are too big to stop right now but they can be put in their place.

Let’s take this seriously before it is too late and we are censored and or controlled. We value and need our freedom. It is our rite. It's our responsibility to keep what's so many have given their lives for. Our freedom was not cheap and we need to keep it for future generations. The best way to do that is to stay informed and stay in touch. There is too much at stake in this modern world to give up control and let someone else make us do what they want. Lead us down a path we don't want to go down. The future belongs to everyone. Let's take it where we want it to go.
