The justice system needs to be improved

Regarding justice, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, “My ummah will remain green as long as it has three qualities, one is that when they speak, they will speak the truth. The second is that when they decide, they will not let justice go out of their hands. The third is that when they are asked for mercy, they will have mercy on the weak. Despite the enlightened teachings of Islam, today's society is striving for the fulfillment of legitimate and illegitimate aspirations by abandoning the path of justice and this situation is leading to the decline of the society. There are heaps of. In this dire situation, the first need of the society is to provide cheap and speedy justice, because problems are created due to delay or delay in the delivery of justice and people get frustrated with the chambers of justice and take the path of strife which is for the state. By no means. Just a few days ago, an elderly man was seen carrying a pile of files near the High Court.

Upon my inquiry, he had stated that his mother's property had been seized by influential people. Which has been pending for the last five years. I have been coming for justice for a long time. No decision is being taken. Opponents are still occupying our property.

Today there is a throng of beggars in civil, session courts and high courts across the country. It has often been observed that in civil cases, a large part of the age of the people is spent in the courts and many of them even go through this world. However, over time, the population has increased, and so has the crime rate across the country. But today the number of judges in our courts is less and the number of cases is very high. According to the data presented in the Senate in November 2021, there are currently 2,159,655 cases pending in the courts of Pakistan. And 1,048 posts of judges are awaiting appointment in high courts and district courts across the country.

Due to the small number of judges, people are losing their lives as they go round the courts for justice. If the number of judges in the courts is increased and it is also taken care that those who come to the court for justice will get justice soon then it will definitely yield good results. And when any criminal will know this. If he is punished immediately, he will think a thousand times before committing a crime.

Lawyers also use a variety of tactics to get dates. Sometimes appearing in another court or sometimes going out of town or taking the date as an excuse for illness, it certainly delays the delivery of justice. Therefore, it is necessary to take such steps so that the questioner can get justice quickly and the prestige of the judiciary is enhanced. No conscious person can deny the importance and usefulness of law. Laws strengthen and perpetuate the relationship between society and the state, while lawlessness destroys society.

Human reform and the survival of society is impossible without the practical implementation of the law because the rule of law is the unit of survival of a society. If Pakistan's system is to be fixed then the justice system has to be brought in the right direction. In these lines, we will appeal to the new Chief Justice of Pakistan to take steps to reform the justice system so that cheap and speedy justice can be achieved.
