In 2021, it is a time that we have embraced an order restored through the transition of power by our new presidential administration to repair the damage done by the previous, former administration led by Donald J. Trump following the attack on 1/6/21 at Capitol Hill, which questioned the accurate violation that the former commander-in-chief has implemented in the minds of his supporters and the QAnon conspiracy group as well as the presidential failure to serve, protect, and defend the constitution of the United States that he ignored. After hearing the speech by Congressman Jamie Raskin (D) of Maryland at the presence of the Senate, it has become clear that Donald J. Trump is not only convicted of the failure in office and wrongdoing of the election results he refused to acknowledge in his 4 year term, but is disqualified to hold any office of honor in the United States. This was not just only the end of Trumpism, but also the beginning of what happens when political parties in history start to split apart. When I have heard the news that after Biden made the first transition of power to the executive office, there had been some news of Trump stating that he would form his own political party and, at the same time, MAGA supporters and some members of the Republican party were also taking the same part. Well when I think about what would be if Trump left office, this painting would explain to some relation to which adds more story to it.

The Red Tied(tide), May 9, 2019, oil on canvas, 24 X 30 inch.

A year before Covid-19 occurred in the United States, I had a disturbing vision of Trump in office making things on Capitol Hill from the White House infected with what appeared to be like a virus form of political influence through corruption, extortion, and totalitarian dictatorship. It was almost like a takeover of the US government by an evil crime syndicate society out of a James Bond fantasy, but with a conspiracy theory twist like the Enemies from Within, Above, Benevolent, Below, and many more than we ever thought. It was a suppose to be a project that reflects on issues with society and I thought of one issue: Trump. So, I placed him in the center on a throne as an awfully, obese, and grotesque form of presidential gluttony that reflects on his own abuse of power in the system. Then, I made the setting of the painting as the main entrance interior of a typical mansion from Potomac, MD that I thought would be visage of his importance as a businessman running a multi-conglomerate organization that is as large as Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Disney, and Apple. As soon as I was painting the silhouette of Washington, DC below a morbidly obese Trump sitting on a throne with his left hand resting on the staircase rail, I was told to make a physical connection between the silhouette and Trump. So as I was brainstorming, I did something that was unthinkable and hatched a really, good message: I connected the silhouette with not just Trump, but his incredibly, long red neck tie drooping down the floor and assimilated it like every horror scene from the Blob. Lord and behold, I made a masterpiece that sends a clear message about the future of Trump, what would happen in his last year in office, and the aftermath. I called this painting The Red Tied because it is a fungal disease that needed to be cleaned up immediately. So in other words, Trump's influence on Capitol Hill and his supporters throughout the nation needed to be cleared out of America's way for restoration.

So about a year later, the message of my painting became true because we were experiencing the arrival of Covid-19. Then when it got into the White House, Trump caught it after Hope Hicks' diagnosis came positive. It was what I realized after having that vision for the painting I made, but that wasn't all. As soon as 2021 started and few weeks before Biden's inauguration, there was the attack at Capitol Hill on Wednesday afternoon, January 6, 2021, that unexpectedly shocked the world. I knew that there was something more than what I had creatively made with his red tie assimilated to several places in DC, including the U.S. Capitol building where the violent riot took place. It was almost as if my painting had more of this Trumpian influence in the U.S. that seems to be poisoning our country's future. It was obvious that it was more than just the virus we have been dealing with for a year. For all I clearly understand and acknowledge, it was probably the prediction of something horrible that would occur at the heart of our nation. It was the most devastating sight I had ever witnessed on live and the footage taken place. Soon after the rioters were escourted out of the Capitol, Pence and the Senate decided to conclude that Joe biden was the winner and that Trump would impeach twice. For the first time in history, the 2nd impeachment was a clear path and barrier that gave the government a historic sight that Donald J. Trump, 45th President of the United States, would conclusively no longer be qualified to serve any official office of honor in politics anymore. It was the relief Americans needed to hear because the thought of having a rambunctious celebrity multi-conglomerate magnate would be impossible to be fit for the office. Nevertheless, the impeachment on Trump for the 2nd time meant something beyond the minds of some members of the GOP who felt like what the riot did was, in their honest opinion, a sign of patriotism which defended Trump's erratic intention of bringing them in front of the Capitol. Now, we both know that those members of the GOP, including both state delegates, House, Senate, and some state governors who defended the riot, would be facing resignation or expulsion for treason and aiding and abetting domestic terrorists. Or worse: the same prosecution as Trump would have been facing as impeachment trials still continue.

As for what is happening to our country after Trump, it is safe to say that we have finally gone past through the chaotic 4 year period and have now turned order into normal, with the exception of mandating all states wearing face masks in the United States. It was the least of worries. But, what I am hoping is the slow transition that will enable America to its best. Well for the future I was profoundly worried about after Trump left, it left America with an impression that at the end of Trumpism a new age begins. So, the age of Trumpism is technically over, but not entirely. We, as Americans, have important things that needs to be addressed and we are starting on the processes of vaccine distribution, fight the virus, and keep continuing wearing masks until the time is right. As I have stated about my painting, the goal is to go out and immediate remove any bacteria, dirt, disease, and polluted sight out of here! Trumpism is like a tide: It is a Red Tide! And it must be removed immediately!
