With the Ukraine invasion becoming ever more peculiar, Americans seem poised to want to join the fight. Military Facebook group members are scratching their heads, building up tension within their own lives, and the safety of the United States home front. There seems to be a tacit idea that American veterans, and some active duty personnel, want to help Ukraine through force.

In a confident and calm manner, a man strolls down the block toting some kind of anti-tank projectile-launching weapon. Indeed, he is like a lone wolf scowling at the neighborhood, announcing his intentions to be the savior for the Ukrainians.

When it comes to the idea of America aiding this relatively free country, it should not be in vigilante factions, thirsty for blood. This is not the a war for the United States. While severe sanctions and help in the form of ammunition and other provisions is proper, no American citizen should be concerned with going to do battle with a foe that has not directly attacked America.

In the spirit of Americans is the will to fight any enemy, but this is not the case with Russia. The nation has not attacked or invaded the USA in any way, and Vladimir Putin should just be viewed as an irrational despot.

But is the man in the video ready to board a plane, or ship, and defend Ukraine’s honor, and protect the lives of the people there? Or is he just lurking to find his opps (opposition) and to eliminate them? The extremely brief video offers little in the way of details concerning the man’s intentions besides “trying to go to war.”

The conflict thousands of miles away from America’s shores should stay over there, and President Biden, in at least a modicum of a backbone should restrain the armed forces from engaging in battles with Russia. If he has any competency left in his brain, he should use it to continue to support the Ukrainians in their efforts to quash the raging sounds of viciousness.

So for this unnamed man to be casually walking down the street with such a devastating weapon on his shoulder, this should send red flags up to law enforcement personnel. How did he get the launcher? What are his plans for using or not using the weapon?

Since America just hobbled and dragged its legs out of Afghanistan in horrific and pathetic fashion, the country should focus on freeing up its economy rather than worrying about the economies and politics of other nations. Ukraine needs help, yes, but it should not be in the form of sending troops. If Iraq and Afghanistan are two examples of altruistic, failed policies in the geopolitical sphere, then America should take heed to the necessity of selfishly defending its own interests.

It should have to take a surprise attack ala 9/11 for such a retaliation to such an act of brute force. And then it would have to be done with precision and self-interest. There ought to be no more selfless self-sacrifice on America’s side. Let all of the aggressors kill themselves before another American life is lost.

As his cool demeanor and straightforward tone depict a man on a mission, there is no mission in which he should take part. Ukraine will always be one of the best examples of America giving countenance to a country that didn’t deserve Putin’s harsh blunder.

So, the man can go to the nearest police station and exchange his weapon for cash to support the war effort. Let that be his way of having his mind right and truly ready for war.
