Whatever we are becoming, I am entirely down. The progressive nature in me allows for it. Asks for it. Craves for it. I want all parts. I want all the smoke in monumental change. Except for this shit! Donald J. Trump is cutting back on U.S Postal Service funding as a blackmail-haha punny enough- for Democratic votes to be hopefully minimized and obsolete. Majority of voting is taking place through virtual mailing because of Corona. Now I afflict this because it directly affects my community and I. One of the bros just got put on to a very respectable job with the U.S Postal Service. A little hood bumpkin from Bedstuy Projects, statistically acclaimed to gang and gun violence, highly susceptible to teenage pregnancy, and an even higher probability of dropping out of high school; opportunity didn’t just come running if you get my gist. Now, my bro-NYC lingo- for good friend happened to defeat these odds that were pined against him. All thanks to his caring mother, his persistent girlfriend, and his own good old fashioned self ambition. Wanting something better for his time, he applies for a city job. That means commitment, loyalty, steadfast obedience, and structure to the state in which you were born, in hopes of a brighter, better future for yourself. Now, he took that risk, aced the test, and began working full time. Boasting and prideful that he had what most could not fathom, his shit together. Guwop was looking mighty healthy for the big bro especially being that he was the catalyst to all DIY, home quarantine-version, in-style at home, delivery things.
Postal workers were imperative during pandemic and even more so for patients, old and young to receive access to their medicinal necessities with virtually every store known to man closed, out of commission. And Trump, well, he vehemently attacks THIS! In hopes of slowing down the process of his inevitable demise, the mail couriers were his primary and tactical target. Shame… As I glance at the T.V screen, and yes, I do mean glance as I try not to imbibe too much of the staged media for it is just as detrimental to consume fake news mentally as it is to indulge in phony food physically. But this I knew to be true. When Trump reissued his campaign for a longer-term back in 2017, he has gained a few thousand like-minded minions, and even more so now that unemployment is at an all-time high. The systemic benefits are even higher as he has made successful efforts to sustain economic residual in the homes of many Americans. Utilizing his pen to sign waivers on evictions with a temporary moratorium, stimulus checks and reviewing the economic trajectory of many unemployed Americans. Therefore, are many constituents I can bet would be willing to bypass the fact that a businessman has been playing monopoly with Amerikkka. And now he plays Life. And we must bear witness pitifully from the sidelines with not much objection, and as censored as the senseless, we watch. Except these aren’t green and purple monsters with odd numeric eyes, these are real people with real lives that actually depend on the governors for delegacy to operate and function in this social construct we call society. While we are a blessed estate to have a democracy where we depend on the president, it is our misfortune that he fucks us in the ass while we’ve got our pants around our ankles. A crazy disaster that the most impressionable third world is under a government shutdown, and the only thing left running is being compromised. Instead, Trump should equal everyone to a level playing field where we bid him farewell letters and let him know how dubiously defective he was as our legal tyrant signed, sealed, delivered. This travesty is very much so relevant and should have shock value, especially for our dedicated workers in those fly baby and navy blue pants suits. Our Postmen/Postwomen.
