I think Carrie Symonds is a breath of fresh air, an asset to 10 Downing Street, a woman to be celebrated and I will tell you why.. Firstly though let's take a look at who she is and where she came from.. Carrie was born on the 17th March 1988, in London, England. She grew up in South West London, and she studied art history and theatre studies at the University of Warwick. Graduating with a first-class degree in 2009.

The beautiful, blonde Carrie is the fiancee of the Uk’s Prime Minister Boris Johnson, their son, Wilfred was born on the 29th April 2020. Carrie joined the Conservative Party in 2009 as a Press Officer. She later became the Conservative Party’s Head of Communications, however she left in 2018 to take up a position in public relations for the Oceana Project. The Oceana Project is a nonprofit conservation organisation, protecting the world's oceans.

Here is why this lady should be celebrated.. She is a passionate animal rights defender!! Oh yes!! This is music to my ears! She is a firm believer in speaking out for the voiceless animals, and she is fearless in doing so. Carrie uses her position of power, in the best way possible, to speak out for what she believes in, and to me, also a firm believer in animal rights, this is what makes her a ray of sunshine. A woman to be celebrated.

I can't bare to see or hear about any form of animal cruelty, pain, abuse, neglect. It deeply upsets me, my heart can't take it. I believe all animals should live a life free from harm, pain and brutality. Sadly, this is not the world we live in. Then along comes Carrie, whose belief in animal welfare is the same as my own, and Carrie has the ultimate power to do something about it, which she well and truly does..

What a delight it is to hear that she is “hooked on all things animal welfare” and that she is convincing Boris to oppose fox hunting. Wahoo!! She is also a dog lover, she and Boris adopted a Jack Russell-Cross puppy, Dilyn, from an animal rescue charity in Wales. Dilyn reportedly is a very spoilt, happy, and much loved dog! Plus Carrie is the patron of the Conservative Animal Welfare Foundation, so we know that the foundation is in great hands, with a patron who truly cares.

Carrie well and truly gets behind animal rights campaigns, she tolerates no form of animal abuse, she recently spoke out against supermarkets who sell ‘monkey labour’ coconut products. In Thailand monkeys are taken from the wild and are used on farms, where they are forced to climb trees to pick coconuts. Since numerous supermarkets have taken these products off their shelves. Fantastic result!

Carrie not only speaks out for the animals, she rolls up her sleeves and gets out on the streets to protest too. You go girl!! She took part in an anti-whaling protest outside the Japanese Embassy in Central London.

She also brings attention to monkey slaving, bullfighting, Yulin Dogmeat Festival and hunting, to name but a few.. She gives these brutal, horrific animal cruelty acts a voice, not only to the attention of Great Britain, but to the whole world, and for that Carrie Symonds I salute you. Long may you speak out to help the animals, to stop cruelty to animals and to get the result to give the animals a life free from harm. With Carrie there it gives me hope of seeing a future with less animal cruelty, and maybe my dream will become a reality and animal cruelty will become a thing of the past. I can live in hope…
