Do Rich Blacks Support white Gentrification?

Gentrification is the buying and renovation of houses and stores in deteriorated urban neighborhoods by wealthier individuals, which in effect improves property values but also can displace low-income families and small businesses. How do we stop this, well the answer is very simple wealthy blacks should be buying and renovating houses and stores in deteriorated urban neighborhoods and in return hire and train those from the community to help rebuild the community. This is how you give back. You can rent your business to anyone but you must own the property in order for the money to circulate back into the community. Until wealthy blacks stop buying into the notion that black communities are worthless white gentrification in urban American will continue to move forward. It's something how people from other cultures can come to the community set up shop and make money but blacks who are in the position to do the same thing chooses not to do anything. We will hold our clinched fists in the air, march, sing and cry when a life is taken but do nothing when people are forced to live in such deplorable conditions.

Why have none of the well off blacks said we need to work on re- circulate the black dollar in our community more than one time? The reason is because they will have to help rebuild the black community and as we can see they are not trying to do that. There is only one solution to fixing the black community problem. One thing would be to lower the unemployment rate. With one community's unemployment rate higher than the national average it's a wonder how we continue to survive. Not only is the unemployment rate higher, drugs are added into the fold which creates violence. If you keep taking jobs and adding drugs, poor relations with law enforcement and politicians; how do we expect for anyone to move forward?

Whey you have a community who feels like they have beed abandoned what you see is what you get. However, it is left to us to clean our own community therefore it’s time for us to not talk about it but be about it. If you are not working with people no matter the color on bringing meaningful employment to the black community stay in your lane. Celebrities speak a lot of words that mean nothing because there is no action behind it. Blacks that speak on unfair acts that are being brought on young black males and females and do not buy, own and create any type of employment should be looked at as part of the reason why the unemployment rate is 13.5% for black people.

There are co-op stores popping up in the black communities that are still owned by the powers to be because the funding comes from City Hall in the form of loans. If Rich blacks, rich churches and rich politicians refuse to act on rebuilding the black community why should non blacks have an interest? How can blacks with such generous amounts of wealth talk about equality and they are not practicing the equality they expect this country to practice. We sell young people into buying $100 sneaks, we sell young people into buying $40 dollar caps, and we sell our young into idolizing these people where only a handful really give back. Our rich blacks make millions where 25% of the millions they make are invested in goods and services in other countries.

From rich athletes to rich entertainers they do the same thing to you, as their non-black partners. We probably have the most black millionaires in the world right here in America and they shun the community just like everyone else. Let's not lay all the blame on whites, we must look at the Oprahs, Bob Johnsons, Michael Jordan’s, and any other super rich black person who thinks like those who refuses to commit to rebuilding the community. A community they grew up in. Unless rich black people, politicians, and community leaders devise a plan to bring jobs to the community for our black youth what you see is what you get. Nike, Adidas, or Under Armor can give you millions in endorsements for a camp, surely you can create a job camp sponsored by Nike, Adidas or any company that endorses you. But we all know that will not happen.

The Flag ( Does the confederate flag anger inner city youth in any way)? I was taught to think the Confederate flag represented white Supremacy and Slavery. Is the confederate flag any worse the American flag? If we base the flag on what we are taught the American flag must come down also. We have to admit the violence and racist acts towards Black people was not just in the South is was all over America. Any state that does away with affirmative action, closes inner city schools, have prisons that are 44.5% black and have cops getting off for killing unarmed people in my mind under the flag of America flag are worse than the confederate flag. I’m going out on a ledge here. I bet you if you asked black people how racist do they think there state is on a scale from 1 to 10 most would say between 7- 9. I’m not defending the confederate flag but I can question why under the flag of America the blues took the land from the free slaves and gave it back to the grays. Remember now if you say the confederate flag represents white supremacy how should black people look at the American flag?
