Alone in it

No Matter What

I have observed over the last almost two years how the issues we are trying so hard to avoid in conversations, as well as down play through bogus infallible reasons, to explain why they are not as “deep” as being professed has caused a greater divide of truth in historical facts. It has sparked high priority in the twisted opinions of those who speak about these atrocities in a mellow dramatic moniker. To say the least, all those that have quietly and openly addressed these matters head-on are then showered with the approach of backlash in how the action was executed to bring attention and awareness. For example, the blatant disrespect from the American leader and supposed example of “leadership," Trump, calling the NFL players “sons of bitches” at his Alabama rally, and the barrage of tweets blasting NFL owners for allowing the players to “disrespect the flag, military, and anthem” by kneeling or sitting. He lays it on even thicker by steering focus to NFL ratings, low ticket sales, and home viewer participation. Obviously, disrespect must be a rule, because these and all actions leading up to this point defines every aspect of the word.

We can open all the strings of foundations that participate in the donation of the monetary front to enact resources that cater to these needs, campaigns that encourage other organizations and individuals to support education and find steps to eradicate, and share these views by creating a social media “red robin” where users of all walks of life can be of influence to their followers. Not to mention some of the major figures in sports, politics, media, radio, and social media, as well as military, and just every day people have given their perspective on the whole protest against injustice and the “flag” being used as a ploy to deflect from the real issue: killing of innocent lives due to fears of inferiority perceived by cops during their encounters with the public. Which, as of recent, is still continuing in the limelight of all the back and forth about how we are to protest this one of many injustices.

I understand what it means to be alone in it all, just like Muhammed Ali, Dr. King, Malcolm X, Colin Kaepernick, Eric Reid, Marshawn Lynch, WNBA, NBA, and the list goes on and on. That feeling you get in your deepest self when you go over and over in your head about the positives and consequences that will come from being the spokesperson for a commonality that fuels a passion to the beginning of seeing a bigger picture than what has already been painted by our supposed written history. I can relate to having the conversation, not just with my family and peers, who share some of the same views and are supportive. I also speak with the I AM who has a greater record of the histories of injustices that have spanned eons of time. Whether we want to embrace it or not, this is the biggest stage of racism that has ever been fabricated in the history of conmen.

The flag is the symbolic reflection of all the blood spilled on behalf of its exaltation in this land and a reminder of the many nations before these Euros came that suffered at their hands. The National Anthem (derived from Francis Scott Key’s poem, "The Defence of Fort McHenry") is the symbolic reflection of that suffering when you read the whole thing in its full stature, as it castrates the very dignity of all ethnicities, including African Americans who have been labeled inferior. The military is the police and the many departments of armored guards using staged “war games” to do subtle invasions; the very same descendants of former slave masters who owned plantations and concentration camps that enforced brutal labor and abuse to those who were captive.

A land that is suppose to be free, yet isn't brave enough to realize that it's enslaved by the very thing that gives it pride. It's too conceited to acknowledge that its shame has now been exposed to a full blown capacity. Its leaders have gone mad by the drunkenness of power. Its nation at war within itself, because of its own delusions of grandeur. All spurned from years of fabricated illusions by the very tools we think are safe, such as books, magazines, schools, churches, government, TV, computers, smartphones, internet, etc. using your everyday teachers, pastors, politicians, police, military, entertainment, radio, social media, etc. through eluding content.

Yes, I am alone in it when it comes to seeing it the way it should be, not by how someone else uses their words to paint the picture I am physically looking at. And oftentimes my looking glass always views the naked truth as opposed to the fairy tale description.
