Nicknamed "Middle Class Joe" Biden has often called himself the poorest member of Congress, however he owns quite the real estate portfolio as this list is about to show.

Purchased in 1996, and located in the upscale suburb of Wilmington, Delaware, this 6,850-square-foot home was built on land next to a large lake.

Orginally purchased for $350,000 dollars, it is now considered to be worth more than $1 million dollars and even as high as $2 million.

The cottage on the property was often rented out to the secret service for $2,200 per month while the interior of the home is kept a secret for security reasons.

9. 1967 Chevy Corvette Convertible Stingray

The only car in Joe Biden's collection, his 1967 Chevy Corvette Convertible Stingray has been with him since August 1967 when he recieved it as a wedding gift.

Capable of going 0 to 60 mph in 5.8 seconds, has a 327 cubic inch L79 V8 engine producing 350 horsepower and a 4-speed manual transmission.

Paying just $5,600 for the car in 1967 he keeps the car at his home in Wilmington, Delaware and only 22,940 Corvettes for the 1967 model were ever made.

Today the car is estimated to be worth in excess of $88,700 dollars and is consistently the top seller among Corvettes at auction.

One 1967 Corvette sold by astronaut Neil Armstrong, sold on eBay for $250,090.

8. Washington, D.C Home

If you thought Joe Biden has an interesting real estate portfolio, then you may be supprised to know that his running mate, Kamala Harris has a mini empire of her own!

Spending nearly her entire life in California, she paid $1.77 million dollars for a two-bedroom, 1,700-square-foot apartment in Washington D.C.

Located in the LEED-certified Westlight complex which sits in Washington's West End, the tower block has 71-units and is just a mile away from the white house.

There are many amenities included in this building with Kamala having access to a rooftop pool, fitness center, housekeeping, and a 24-hour concierge.

7. Rehoboth Beach Home

Located on the Delaware Shoreline, this mansion was purchased by the Biden's in the summer of 2017 and overlooks Cape Henlopen State Park, being just several blocks from the beach.

Six bedrooms feature in this three-story home and the property has expansive porches and some great views of the Atlantic Ocean.

The home has a special backyard for entertaining and an outdoor kitchen and, BBQ and Fireplace let the couple keep their guests well fed and warm.

Biden said in a statement that he had always dreamed of owning a home near the beach where he could take the entire family.

6. Vulcain Cricket

The first in a series of watches in Joe Biden's interesting collection, his Vulcain Cricket is estimated to be worth around $7000 dollars.

Known to be a favourite of presidents over the ages, the barnd has been worn by every president starting with Harry S Truman, earning the brand its reputation as, The Watch for Presidents.

The Vulcain watch manufacturer was founded in 1858 and is the inventor of the alarm complication for wristwatches.

It has a width of 42mm, stainless steel case, silver dial, manual movement and is part of the 50s Presidents collection.

5. San Francisco Condo

Another location close to the heart of Kamala Harris, her Condo in downtown San Fransisco was purchased for $489,000 and is thought to have doubled in value since then.

Harris became San Francisco's first Black attorney general in 2004 and the 1000 square foot home is located in the city's SoMa neighborhood that is home to many of San Fransisco's tech company headquaters.

The home is said to have a decent sized kitchen and bathroom and has two bedroms, one being en-suite.

4. Former Greenville Home

The first home purchased by Biden during his initial dip into the real estate market was this former DuPont mansion in Delaware, which he bought in the 1974.

He purchased the mansion, which is located in Tony, Greenville for $185,000 and even nicknamed the house The Station.

The home later became the campaign headquaters for his first presidential run in 1988 and he later sold the home after moving onto greener pastures for $1.2 million dollars.

3. Omega Speedmaster

Originally made famous as the watch of 007 agent James Bond, Joe biden has been seen on numerous occasions wearing this brand of watch.

Biden has the robust Seamaster 300M version of the watch with a black dial, black faceplate and stainless steel strap.

This type of watch on average costa around $6-7,000 dollars and is water resistant up to 300 meters and has automatic movement with a diameter of 44mm.

The home is now thought to be worth $5.4 million dollars and narrowly avoided the Getty Fire, which burned 745 acres in the area.

The property has four bedrooms and a pool, and is located ten minutes from the Getty Center while neighbors in the area include Gwyneth Paltrow and LeBron James.
