Super Bike @ Foundation NFT Marketplace - Mr Unique

Do you wonder why your NFT is not getting sold despite the efforts you put into the art ?

Have you ever thought of leaving this NFT space because you think you are not fit into this space ?

Probably before quitting, just go through the below reasons why your NFT not selling, so you can rectify and correct yourself. Still we are early in this space and absoultely no one is a loser unless they quit.

The major problems with unsold NFT's are:

1. You have very less number of followers in social media. So when you share your NFT in Twitter or any other medium, it would probably not reach the wider audience

2. Your NFT may not hold a value or vision or may not be unique

3. Please note that, not all NFT collectors may purchase your art. Each collector has different vision and perpective. Your NFT has to be viewed by the right collector inorder to be sold

4. The NFT collector is unable to verify your authenticity & does not believe your creation and hence your creation is unsold

5. Probably you are using wrong NFT marketplace to sell your Art. You need to do more analysis on which NFT marketplace would suit your art

6. Your social media profile doesn't look authentic which makes NFT collectors ignore your art

7. You do not have your own blogs or websites. Few NFT collectors would wish to see your historic arts through your blogs or websites before purchasing yours. So when you do not have one, they may come to a conclusion that your NFT may not be authentic

8. You art does not look unique or it may resemble some other art. This is also a main reason for your NFTs getting unsold

9. As of now there is no major social media to promote the NFTs except Twitter. If you do not have twitter account, probably your NFT may become unsold as the collectors may not be aware of your art

10. You are using a wrong a smart contract to deploy your NFTs. There are many smart contracts like ETH, MATIC, Aptos, Tezos etc to deploy NFTs. You have to decide and choose the right marketplace and should interact with right people to sell your art

11. (Weird and a bonus reason) - may or may not be true. In recent times AI generated images are very popular and these are being deployed as NFTs. More number of people are forming a team, having better comminucation in social media and use these AI generated images as NFT and sell their art. So the small artists profiles and tweets are being supressed and not visible to right collector

Learn from the mistakes and correct it. We are still early into this. It is easier to quit the space but it does not make us stronger. Believe in you and your art.

To be frank - I am a small artist and I personally had most of these experiences. The NFT image I posted above is mine and created this art with a unique vision. But unable to reach the right collector and it remains UNSOLD till now.

But I am very much confident that one day my art will be purchased by right collector. Till then, I am not going to leave this NFT space and will be working harder to create unique arts!

In next blog, we can analyse which is the good NFT marketplace by comparing their markets, usability, NFT sell percentage, cost of deploying NFTs. Stay tuned.

Thumbs up to all the artists! We can have a bright future together.
